I think that’s a bit harsh. This team’s engineers overperformed for years given their budget. They won’t have forgotten how to develop a car because one of their bigwigs made a decision to copy another philosophy.

With visibility being the main factor for not racing at Spa, there is some hope for the future in similar conditions as the new spec cars should throw up less water if I understand it correctly.
