Casanova commented on the post, Schumacher feels he "extracted the maximum" after losing Haas drive 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I feel for him – that Haas looked an absolute dog to drive at the start of the year. He hasn’t quite shone, but his results have been more than respectable. I hope he gets another shot at F1 to show what he’s capable of.
Casanova commented on the post, Whatever triggered it, Verstappen's defiance of his own team makes little sense 2 months, 2 weeks ago
Unfortunately Red Bull have shown several times in the past decade that there is no consequence for the driver who petulantly ignores a team order.

Given that the mirror fell off during the race, how can it have been impossible to file the protest within 30 minutes of the publication of the Provisional Classification?

Particularly at the start of the season, that Haas looked horrible to drive. Mick has driven well with the equipment he has had available to him.

Out of interest, can anyone tell me who is the McLaren driver at 1:20 who is a little bit annoyed?McLaren driver is Raikkonen – you can see it printed on the back of the HANS device as he gets up.
Casanova commented on the post, Verstappen takes huge lead as Leclerc's crash halts Ferrari's fightback before it begins 6 months, 1 week ago
I feel five seconds was much too lenient a penalty for Ferrari’s unsafe release. It so nearly resulted in a collision with Latifi’s Williams, which would surely have taken out the McLaren mechanics who were just […]

Why not (a) admit it’s a race, and (b) call it the Petit Prix?
Casanova commented on the post, F1's 2022 calendar plans revealed: 23 races, three 'triple-headers', shorter Monaco weekend 1 year, 4 months ago
The second half of the season looks particularly gruelling. Teams will surely arrive in Japan (for their 6th race in 7 weeks) utterly shattered. I hope that neither the safety nor the spectacle suffer from the […]

He and the rest of the F1 paddock are tested very regularly to ensure any cases isolate as appropriate.

Casanova commented on the post, Norris two penalty points away from ban after Perez incident 1 year, 7 months ago
Exactly this. On a straight, it’s reasonable to leave space for a rival who is trying to pass, to protect against people being put into the wall at high speeds. In a corner, that’s just not practical – the racing […]
Casanova commented on the post, F1's heavy cars at odds with sustainability push – Hamilton 1 year, 7 months ago
Formula E cars have increased in weight since the first series because of the major shift to a battery which can last the whole race. What justification does F1 have for the extra, apart from the Halo, and perhaps […]

Casanova commented on the post, Could Honda exit force Red Bull into a Renault reunion – and cost them Verstappen? 2 years, 4 months ago
How feasible would it be for Red Bull to take over Honda’s engine operation and become an engine supplier themselves? It seems by far the cleanest route out of this.
Casanova commented on the post, Honda to quit Formula 1 after 2021 season 2 years, 4 months ago
This would be the cleanest outcome I think – and would put RB on a par with Mercedes, Ferrari and Renault as top-line teams who make their own engines. It’s not the 1980s any more, where finding a company to make […]
