I can get a bus from my hotel to the metro stop so I can have a couple of beers if the weather is warm. On the last day I will probably drive to the station as you suggest so I can head straight out to the airport.

I am booked into a hotel in the Longueull area which is west of the river and about a 50 minute walk from the circuit
I will have a car over the weekend, does anyone know of somewhere between Longueull and the south end of the circuit where it is easy to park?

What was that about picking up English commentary on the circuit radio? Do I need to download a Spa app or is it accessed via the web on local wifi?I was going to upgrade my Official F1 app to access the live commentary but is not clear if this feature works outside of the UK

Is anyone else staying at camping F1? It looks to about a 20 minute walk North East of the track.
I am driving from Frankfurt airport on Thursday, and should arrive at the campsite by 1pm and then head for the pit walk queue. As parking is free on Thursday is it best to drive or will it be really busy? Mind you if it is chucking it down I…[Read more] -

Going to the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps 7 years, 8 months agoDear Vince, Camping Eau Rouge is southwest of the circuit and is about a half hour walk to the track.
You would come to the track at either Rivage or the Paul frère curve, both are at the far end of the track in the more countryside section.

I see you are making the trip from Austin to Silverstone for the WEC. I sort of did the opposite trip for the 2013 Austin F1 race.
I was at last years WEC at Silverstone and be warned it could be absolutely freezing. A bitter wind can cut across the circuit and it can be tricky to find a grandstand that shelters you.

DTM (Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters) 8 years agoHi
All booked for Hockenheim at the start of May. Flying to Frankfurt and picking up a car (doing the same of the Spa F1 in August so this will be a bit of a test run) Found a cheap hotel not too far from the circuit and have booked the Gold Sudtribune so I also get to see the rally cross event.

Really forward to the new F3 season.
I will be at Silverstone in April and at Hockenheim at the start of May.
I have followed Tatiana’s career for a few years now and it will be good to see what she can do as part of the Carlin team, she has the car and the experience, she just needs to qualify a lot higher up the grid. Easy really! -

Going to the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps 8 years agoHi all
I finally booked my tickets to Spa.
Flying Ryanair to Frankfurt, picking up a car, camping at Camping F1 and I also splashed out on the Gold Eau Rouge grandstand. About £700 all in so a little less than I spent going to Austin in 2013.
All I need to do now is wait for five months!
