I disagree and voted Ricciardo. He looked to be managing the gap just fine and likely would have continued and finished on the podium before the second red flag. Albon was not looking good at all until the after […]

And why would you use a poll instead of tests to decide which is safer? The poll is about people’s opinions on it.

The brakes don’t even work in this thing.

I agree. Those three all did well. I’m not a fan of Verstappen but I had to give him my vote. Splitting the ferraris in qualy and then beating both is better than most could have done.

Bottas for sure. He got pole and did everything he needed to in the race. Including letting Hamilton past. Verstappen had an extremely good race as well, but Bottas was perfect.

Seriously? A 1 because of something that happened right near the end. Did you only turn it on at the very end? I understand if it’s a boring race and you don’t like the result rating it low. There was a lot goi […]

Not the result I was hoping for but it was a great race. Battles all throughout the race all the way down the field. Great job by Lewis and Valtteri bringing home the 1-2.

Correct. My bad. My uncle told me and for some reason I didn’t bother to fact check it.

@celicadion23 I believe that all four of verstappens wins came of days where Mercedes had double dnf’s.

I agree. Bottas is having a good year yet people over look him. If only he didn’t get that flat…

Also Alonso banked on them much earlier when the situation was different. At that time I don’t think any of us were expecting them to be that bad. Now he’s there he may as well stick it out. But if he were with a […]

I wonder if an 18″ run would reduce the amount of air enough to make the tires easier to keep in the window? Right now when you loose temps you loose pressure because the tall sidewalls effectively make them […]

Where he currently is isn’t a bad place to be either. Right now he is the red bull lead driver and doing well. If he stays he has that to look forward to and I don’t honestly believe verstappen is a better driver. […]
ColinChapman commented on the post, Vote for your 2018 Monaco Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 4 years, 1 month ago
I agree. Verstappen should have had at least an easy second place. The red bull was the best car at Monaco and he ruined his weekend by crashing out before qualy. Anything other than a podium was not a good […]

I also believe that last years chassis was better. Maybe not the best but I think they lost a bit of what they had going for them when they switched over to Renault.
ColinChapman commented on the post, McLaren "still lacking straight-line speed" – Alonso 4 years, 1 month ago
He’s not talking about the past three years. This year they have a benchmark and can see where they need improvement. The last three years they couldn’t even get far enough to worry about their lack of race pace.

I think Dan was quite fair through the whole race with leaving verstappen space. On the other hand max wasn’t, and moving around the braking zone was too much in my opinion.

The hulk coming in as the worst record for start position vs finishing position goes to show how far he dragged that car in qualy. Or his racing was crap.

Well yes I do realize that. Just pointing out it’s ironic to be displaying your patriotism while wearing another countries flag.

Anyone else find it slightly odd that he paraded around a British flag but has on a custom Mercedes hat featuring an American one? Regardless, congrats to him. He’s driven incredibly during the second half of this season.
