I think it actually works great to get on the grid and get going relatively fast and easily Peter. It just means that you postpone the actually building of a team that is able to dig down, sort out issues and […]

Yeah, and also it shows we (and F1) shouldn’t just throw drivers under the bus as soon as they/we often do the second things don’t go perfectly @sjaakfoo!

Agree. This is probably the least impressive F2 grid I’ve ever come across. Theo and Arthur might be the only drivers to shine this season, but even then, their performances would hold very little […]

An influential car too – see how the Tyrrell, Ligier and all-conquering Williams copied or developed its design in the following years. A bit like today’s “RB18 clones”?

The only existing Formula 1 car used by an American driver to win the world championship will be put up for auction at the end of the current season.
Mario Andretti’s Lotus 79 chassis number four will be […]

At least he didn’t crash it during the seat fitting.
Give me a new driver every time (like de Vries in the Williams, or somebody from McLaren’s US squad), not a failure like Vandoorne, Giovanizzi or Schumacher, […]Todfod commented on the post, De Vries admits he didn't always cope with pressure during his long journey to F1 2 days, 14 hours ago
I hope he does well. He’s had a lots of ups and downs to get to F1, but he seized the only opportunity he got last season in style. It’s a great underdog story.. I’ll be rooting for him.

They should just rename it to “Livery launch” … if there isn’t enough of an audience for the livery launch.. then just assign the car launches in Barcelona a day before pre-season testing starts. At least the […]

Fast enough to win the 2021 World Championship, arguably.

Much better than the usual Haas liveries. Not stunning, but it’s at least purposeful and aggressive.

Good point, a bit of a missed opportunity there.

A lot better than staying with tooling grey though. While it is not exactly stunning, it looks far better than most of their liveries so far.

I never liked the old Haas liveries but this one gives me Tyrrell 020 vibes, so it’s alright.
I just have to understand that Haas will never, ever have an inspiring livery. Dull it’s their motto when it comes […]

I’m a bit worried that we’ll see nine RB18 copies (to some extent) and an RB19 that wipes the floor with them…

Todfod commented on the post, Haas banks on experienced line-up as it seeks another step forward in 2023 3 days, 16 hours ago
The problem with Haas is that they are clueless about how to develop a car over the season. They don’t really design or build their own cars, so they’re always going to move backwards as the season progresses. […]
