Yes, Vettel ran away with it up front, but there were some great battles all the way down the field. Great performances from a few drivers, and plenty of overtaking without always talking about tires.

I would say another big factor was that it wasn’t just broadcast on NBC Sports Network, but on NBC proper. So all the network affiliates were showing it, and you didn’t need to subscribe to NBC Sports Network to watch it.

It’s quite possible that debris flew off massa’s front wing and punctured the tyre as it was said that many pieces of debris was found when inspecting the tyre.

He will probably have to pit after one lap to change tyres.
