I’d like note how many aspects of yesterday’s are worthy of praise.
Cheers for the straight line of safety progress started decades ago and advocated by Sir Jackie, among many many others. I think we can agree that yesterday’s turn one melee could have been deadly for driver, marshalls, and fans yesterday in any other era.

It’s all about the venue and the entire package of the location and the venue. Nobody was asking for a Texas race 15 years ago and it’s been a success. It seems odd to be talking about this before we even do Mia […]
Yes. Keith’s mind is made up on this issue and it shows every time he writes about it.
What has most confused me about these Sprint events is that they’ve decided to add these events at some of most iconic and well supported local events. Nobody needs help getting excited for Silverstone, Monza, and […]

There’s clearly more to this than I understand. He says that they needed more lead time to make the wheels…? Aren’t the wheels provided by a supplier like OZ? I knew that the team was involved in the design of […]

Great points. Nice.
I’m glad they are finally trying to correct the quality of the racing. Hope it works.
I think the long camera shots encouraged by Yas’ layout (and also Paul Ricard) are also somewhat to blame for the dull vis […]
The balance of ‘gentle on tires’ and ‘can’t get temp into the tires’ seems like a really tricky compromise across the whole of the season.
It’s also sort of a boring talking point for as prominent as it is […]

He’s proven that he can come close to Lewis and can frequently take second when Lewis wins. That’s his job and it’s easier said than done.
It’s clearly dictated by aero. Mercedes has the best aero.
Williams has the same engines as Mercedes. The difference is aero.
Perhaps the teams should be required to have a standing agreement with at least one F2 race winner as their stand in. It would make each drivers first F2 win quite a milestone.
Perhaps it’s also time to age out […]
It seems that, at the very least, they will need to look at this more closely if anyone else gets sick in 2020. They have created such tight rules that there are very few options.
I’d like to see something […]
