Alonso has a contract at Ferrari until 2017, and Vettel the same the Red Bull.
It doesn’t seem to be a problem :)

I strongly believe Alonso has a better option than McLaren on the table, but not for next year.
So it’s probably McLaren for 2015 or Mercedes for 2016.
You can read it in his mischievous smile that he has an […]Dragon commented on the post, Rate the race: 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix 8 years, 1 month ago

Who was criticising F1 for being really boring, again? :PDragon commented on the post, Which team has the best-looking car of 2014? 8 years, 2 months ago
The retro Williams Martini FW36, without a doubt! :)

Other silly questions: are these tests – as I imagine they are – open to the public?

Romain Grosjean for sure. He’s finally found his pace again (and now he doesn’t crash into anything that moves!)

Nico Hulkenberg. He’s a star.

I definitely agree.

Nico Hulkenberg. It’s the easiest decision in the history of the F1 driver market.

I have to agree. I was hoping until the last moment that Hulkenberg would snatch the Ferrari drive. I thought it made much more sense. But, alas, it was not to be.
Still quite thrilled at watching Kimi and […]Dragon commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Italian GP driver of the weekend 8 years, 8 months ago
I agree with the second part. The only problem with it being that the stewards do need to take into account (in my opinion) whether the driver committing the offence crashes into someone every other race like […]

Hulkenberg’s poor start (compared to the Ferraris’ and Red Bulls’) is explained by the fact that usually faster cars make better starts.
Also Ferrari are renowned for their lightning starts.
I don’t think […]Dragon commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Italian GP driver of the weekend 8 years, 8 months ago
Hulkenberg by a country mile.

Definitely true, I should have been more precise in saying that it was impressive he managed to do so many competitive laps on a single set of tyres.

There were 4 drivers who stood out during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend:
1) Sebastian Vettel, who looked quick from Friday – in long runs, too – whose main job was to cleverly secure pole position with a […]

The mistake in Malaysia was rather a minute one as the touch to Vettel was really quite light. Still a mistake, but it’s not like he braked 50m late.
Also Ferrari is renowned to not be particularly outstanding in […]Dragon commented on the post, Ferrari and Lotus still threats despite poor qualifying 8 years, 11 months ago
@tmf42 – Alonso is not at the top of his game because of one race where the car did obviously not have good pace? That seems to be a hasty judgement.

The procession was not due to the Pirelli tyres. It was due to the Monaco ‘racetrack’.

Yes, Ferrari was well off the pace. And yes, Alonso definitely didn’t have a good day.
