Also just want to say, what a drive from Rossi! On one restart he overtook 5 drivers all around the outside, and many others besides. He really is looking like one of the most exciting open wheel drivers at the […]

I’m going to be honest here, I am not in any way a Will Power fan. But today I couldn’t help but get tearful when he crossed the line and drove to victory lane. He has worked for it so long, and suffered a lot of […]

Not good. Incredibly bland and generic, if they took the occasional engine noises away I would not be able to tell this apart from almost every mainstream action film’s music from the past few years. It does […]

@keithcollantine Wow that was fast, did you write this in the BT Sport commentary booth?!
Feel awful for Wickens, he drove so well throughout the race and really deserved the win. That said, I think the […]
f1alex commented on the post, F1 is following Formula E's lead on social media and street tracks – Agag 5 years ago
I wouldn’t say street races are a Formula E innovation – they are literally the oldest form of race circuit there is! I understand the point he’s trying to make, but F1 was adding street races to the calendar […]

It’s a problem that always exists and should be dealt with. Complacency will only result in more deaths, while actually trying to fix it has a chance of reducing deaths. I’m not saying this is the perfect solution […]

How would you know it’s a “piece of junk” if you haven’t seen it for 15 years?
f1alex commented on the post, Last-to-first victory in IndyCar season opener 5 years, 11 months ago
Regardless of your opinion, which I heavily disagree with, it hasn’t been called IRL for almost 15 years!

@keithcollantine Yep I did! In fact I found your and Ben’s commentary much more interesting and informative than the US commentators, who all seemed a bit bored for most of it! BT should get you guys doing the full race commentary :)
Really enjoyed the race, happy for Bourdais as he did a great job and it clearly meant a lot to him. I feel a bit…[Read more]

That’s a really interesting looking grid. Good to see Newgarden up there in his first race for Penske, and also cool to see Chilton and Rossi both up there.
@keithcollantine, will you be involved with the BT coverage any time this season? I really enjoyed it last year!

I had a mini heart attack when I saw Piquet Jr marked as “on the grid for 2017”!
f1alex commented on the post, Williams announce Massa's return from retirement 6 years ago
That’s very true, however to get the maximum possible they need to have the two best drivers they can get, which unfortunately I don’t think they have.
f1alex commented on the post, Williams announce Massa's return from retirement 6 years ago
Although I really like Massa, this just feels like the wrong decision. From a purely emotional standpoint I don’t like how it kind of devalues his big emotional goodbye last year, which is really sad because that […]

Oh come off it. No he isn’t a Hamilton, Schumacher or Senna. That doesn’t make him less of a champion. He beat one of the best drivers of the last 10 years over the course of an entire season. He may not be quite […]
f1alex commented on the post, Rosberg stuns F1 by announcing retirement 6 years, 2 months ago
I’ve respected him all year, he’s beaten a driver that most would say is a quicker and more naturally talented in a straight fight. But he’s not done that through luck – as much as it may have played a part – he’s […]

There are worse places he could have ended up though, fortunately

Several more words: I actually have a huge amount of admiration and respect for him with this decision. I’ve admired his approach all through F1 but especially this year, and with him recently starting a family […]
