Or they can be used to check the data from the wind tunnel. I.e the air flow/ shape of the vortices coming off the various arodynamic surfaces is as close as possible to computer predictions

I have just watched the on board footage of the new mercedes car. I was wondering what everyone else thinks about having that drivers point of view in a race situation? I would love to see it
It would make sense to help understand the split second decsions that are made in wheel to wheel situations

That was a wonderful video of a drivers point of view of driving an f1 car i.e alot more physical than it appears on tv. It would be a brilliant view of drivers going wheel to wheel in a race

Montoya in 2006 leaving mclaren mid season, possibly after falling out with Ron dennis over the previous 18 months. Just read on bbc website which says Jenson Button & his wife have officaly split up. This is really sad news, but it does make me wonder how hard it is for the drivers & team personal to keep personal relationships and a family life with all the traveling they do.

Would someone correct me if i am wrong but is the 2015 Mclaren Honda the most unreliable car in F1 history? I.e out of 16 starts for Alonso 8 retirments (7 if you dont include the Austrian race accident).

From a personal point of view i would say Cmthe Spanish grand prix at Catalyua, as it is a curcuit that is used extensively for testing so all the teams have the car set up more or less perfected before a wheel is turned so the qualfying usualy decides race results. Also with the Spanish weather there is little chance of a supprise result due to weather
