Lets stop that pesky points system from ruining things for Alonso. Formula X factor is the future. And with SMS votes at 50 pence, Bernie could make an even […]

@fanser – Don’t waste time insulting Vettel. Karthikeyan hasn’t done much that is impressive in his years in F1, losing to pretty much every teammate he’s ever had. That’s why he still has a “poor car in his […]

@fanser Are you sure? Considering the variables it seems like a waste of effort to me, the drivers generally wont know what the weather is going to be like when they’re on the simulator anyway.

@fanser I think Button wants Vettel to win actually. Button is very good friends with Vettel.

@fanser You’re right, of course, but I was willing to take small liberties like those in order to create drama, as I didn’t want to say “Glock will be on pole” or anything really ridiculous like that :)

Those cars might not have been better than some other cars on the track, but surely you can’t argue that any other car was better either.Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vettel and Alonso both worthy champions, say rivals 10 years, 3 months ago
@fanser – I say Vettel: one major problem with jumping to conclusions is that there is no way to tell which is the right conclusion. We have no equal comparison between Vettel and Alonso at this moment in time, so […]

Alonso 2005, 2006
While the Renault wasn’t strictly the fastest car out there, I still believe that it was the best car in those years.
raymondu999 commented on the post, Vettel wins in India but Alonso limits the damage 10 years, 3 months ago
@fanser I take your points, all true. But on the very last lap, I’m quite sure Vettel was pushing, in his habit of trying for fastest lap. Alonso’s fastest lap was quicker than that lap.

@fanser let’s be honest though. The 2011 Massa is rather rubbish.

@fanser what’s to say that Alonso’s driving even suits a Newey car? For all we know Newey’s cars might be very quick but very difficult to drive. Look at Patrese. He couldn’t feel the car at all when he was at Williams.

As I’m sure it’s been generally agreed @fanser , any differences in a team’s car would be relatively small, small enough so they wouldn’t affect the eventual champ, much less across 3 straight years. That’s […]
David-A commented on the post, Vettel takes championship lead with hat-trick of wins 10 years, 3 months ago
@fanser – This year, RBR haven’t been dominant like in 2011, with Mclaren, Ferrari and Lotus being so competitive, but Vettel still has the most wins. Furthermore, he didn’t have the best car across 2009 either, […]

@fanser The point is that if Massa would’ve been allowed to pass Alonso, he would’ve gotten several seconds ahead of him with his pace, probably more than the 6 he lost at the end, ergo saving tyres was […]

@fanser – Yet the driver who is on equal level with Alonso, according to you, is 60 points off him, in a car that many regard to be as good, if not better than Ferrari.
For goodness sake, this cliche that “only […]
