I think Hamilton is one of the luckiest driver in F1.
When he had his retirement in Singapore he had the luck that his teammate didn’t have the best car, so that Rosberg only could score a limited amount […]
I’ll bite :-)
Mercedes know very well what is wrong with the engine. Out of precaution they have changed Rosbergs engine so he will be capable of finishing the race. Unlike Hamilton whose engine will […]
Good point, but I think that such problem would vary per circuit. In Monza and Bahrain it is reasonable easy to see if someone will pit. At some circuits you notice it sometimes when it is […]
What will withhold the car that is trying to lap the slower car to also take the short circuit? Since everybody gets the same amount of short circuit laps it is in mine opinion a more fair system then DRS. […]
I don’t agree with the statement that a jokerlap is a ridiculous rule. Granted, I agree with the point that it works better with short races, but it is important to remember that every participant has to take the […]

Imagine the following […]
I think the greatest mistake Williams made was to not pit Massa on the same lap as Hamilton. One lap more on the hard tyre at the end of the stint wouldn’t have made that much difference. Even if Bottas and […]
To be sure I watched the BBC footage. And you can clearly see that the heavy rain started when Vettel drove trough the pitlane after making his stop. At that time Hamilton was somewhere in the first sector with […]
The reason why people are calling it a lucky moment is because at the moment Hamilton decided to pit the intermediate tyres weren’t not the right tyres. The heavy rain which made the intermediate tyres necessary […]
To avoid this discussion next time, maybe Bottas can qualify better than Massa. He is also forgetting that the reason he was behing Massa was because Massa showed Hamilton very kindly the run-off area by the re-start.

I remember Nico Hulkenberg passing two cars last year in Korea while his car was completely outside the whites lines. Those two cars where the McLaren from Lewis Hamilton and ironically the Lotus from Romain […]
