I wish they would change the colour of that concept car. Either that, or put some Colgate sponsorship on it so there’s a reason for it looking so naff…
At least the shape looks a lot better with the versions […]
I was wondering the same thing. If the sprint is treated as effectively a separate event then why not try new things and push the boundaries out? If you don’t like it, don’t watch it. The qualifying and race will […]
That makes sense to me. One of the old point scoring systems could be used here e.g. 10-6–4–3–2–1 for the top 6 in qualifying or 10–8–6–5–4–3–2–1 for the top 8. They would seem fair (and we wouldn’t have the 0.5 […]
Firebreather commented on the post, F1 breaks 30-year-old record for shortest-ever race 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Perez never actually got a chance to unlap himself. If the safety car was going to come in and let them race, they would have had to let Perez through first to unlap himself. But he never go that chance, so he […]
Shouldn’t all cars just stop immediately after the finishing line now? Why would anyone risk doing an in lap if you could end up with not enough fuel at the end of it?
It’s a shame for Vettel. He deserved another podium.

Maybe they got Albon to drive round the track 70 times in a 2 year old Racing Point…
I do hope Vettel gets his points back though. He deserves them after the hammering from the media he has been getting over […]
It’s unlikely most tracks could be reversed, but some may be able to support it with some safety tweaks. (I actually think that Monaco would be better in reverse, and it looks like there’s only a couple of corners […]
Firebreather commented on the post, Don't use sprint qualifying to decide starting grid for grand prix – Leclerc 3 months ago
Yep, I was thinking exactly the same thing. That way we get to try out a reverse grid race (which I actually think would be pretty cool – especially as a shorter race without pitstops), but the main race is kept […]
Firebreather commented on the post, Vettel not to blame for Q2 blocking incident – Alonso 3 months, 3 weeks ago
That pretty much shows that there was nothing which Vettel could have done about that. He seemed to be the only one trying to leave space to not have to slow down on the last 2 corners. He would also have had no […]
Hero. Literally the whole world is routing for you.
What aren’t F1 tyres run-flats yet? Instead of this article being about a tyres which explode, it should have been about Pirelli singing their own praises about how they have amazing tyres which can be deflated, […]
Could the teams not just change the name of the qualy mode to ‘normal mode’ then use ‘extra reliability mode’ when they want to prolong the life of it? So they’d use normal mode for qualifying and the start of the […]
Firebreather commented on the post, F1 interested in offering simulation alternative to official game 1 year, 5 months ago
This is the first thing I thought of as well. I’ve tried the Codemasters F1 games, and have bought a few (including F1 2019) – they all look great – but there’s a reason why I keep going back to Grand Prix 4. Even […]
I was hoping this would happen. Hopefully Crofty and Brundle will be commentating. And it would be great to get a few of the ex F1 drivers involved as well – Damon, Herbert, Button, Coulthard, Barrichello, […]
I agree. I was expecting rules like drivers are only allowed 1 pair of shoes during the season or they will get grid penalites, and during a pitstop they have to get out and stand on their head for 20 seconds… […]

How about overlaid over a graphic of the start/finish straight so you get a visual idea of the actual distance as well?
This is what he wrote. It’s well said! If you agree let youre feelings be known to the sky people!
Firstly I wanted to heap praise upon the decision to show the first Indycar race of the new season on the […]
Hi guys. this is my first post here, so first off hello!
Obviously I love F1, but I’ve always wanted to be able to follow indycars as well, although never known how. But now that Rubens is going, I really want […]
