Wes commented on the post, Who will be left without an F1 drive when the final places are taken for 2023? 8 months, 3 weeks ago
This is my guess:
ZHO will stay
GAS to Alpine
DEV to AT
MSC will stay(brings more attention and pace is similar to GIO)
RIC to Williams(Merc Reserve as they compare with ALB for future HAM retirement) -

This should have never been a spec series from day one. What if F1 had been a spec series. Would we still have the same interest? I want to see a group of university students up against a Chinese company I […]

Wes commented on the post, Who should Renault hire to replace Ricciardo? 2 years, 11 months ago
How about Kvyat? He has more experience now, has shown good pace, has been in a big team, and probably could be had for little money. A little freedom from Red Bull may help him relax and show all his potential. […]

Why not just bring last years tire specs back at this point but keep the simple Hard, Medium, Soft naming for each track. We will all know it is actually the Ultra, Super, Medium, etc. depending on whatever they […]

Wes commented on the post, Beat Hamilton? Vettel hasn't proved he can beat Leclerc yet 4 years, 1 month ago
This inter-team fight has received a lot of attention and I believe actually allowed Mattia Binotto to avoid additional scrutiny over the teams/cars performance. How long before people start asking if Arrivabene […]

Wes commented on the post, Verstappen and Hamilton want F1 to remove DRS "Band-Aid" 4 years, 2 months ago
See my post where I quoted the late Charlie Whiting as saying that. I believe the man knew how DRS worked. I assume the backing off comment was referring to deactivating the DRS by hitting the button.

Wes commented on the post, Verstappen and Hamilton want F1 to remove DRS "Band-Aid" 4 years, 2 months ago
Having drivers use it at all times means everyone must push because the threat of someone using DRS more then you to catch is real.
I don’t want drivers thinking should I possibly use DRS or save it for another […]

Wes commented on the post, Verstappen and Hamilton want F1 to remove DRS "Band-Aid" 4 years, 2 months ago
Why restrict it at all or have a select number of times it could be used. Let the drivers use it whenever they want. If the leader is using it to get away from the pack then they risk spinning if it is deployed […]

How is no one talking about the carbon fiber tool holder upgrade added to Lewis’s floor? These boxes also appeared to be missing on his floor after the in race damage occurred. Surely this is also why he lost so […]
