This weekend feels very random with how unpredictable these tyres are, not a fan at all.

@f1frog I was doing a race last night at Interlagos, Leclerc was P2… Not even joking I thought for a moment I launched F1 2019 by accident.
Francorchamps commented on the post, 2020 F1 driver rankings #20: Nicholas Latifi 2 years ago
Can we consider Latifi as less experienced than Russell when he’s 4 years older and has spent a lot of times in GP2 cars (they may not be as fast as F1 but they’re still good to learn tyre management)?

@rdotquestionmark indeed. I would be interested in a more in-depth article on the 2021 token system @keithcollantine (Melbourne is still so far away, RaceFans is my only way to cope with the lack of Formula 1!)
Francorchamps commented on the post, Grosjean: I tried three times to escape from burning cockpit 2 years, 2 months ago
Obviously the most important thing is that Romain is alive and relatively uninjured.
But I don’t get all the praise the FIA is getting, Grosjean spent 28 seconds in a burning car and it didn’t look like the […]Francorchamps commented on the post, Hamilton has "no idea" why he's under investigation for track limits infringement 2 years, 4 months ago
Sochi’s Turn 2 is so badly designed, it causes confusion every year.
Francorchamps commented on the post, Why Hamilton queried his 10-second stop-go penalty in the Italian GP 2 years, 5 months ago
So he got the penalty because he entered the pitlane 12 seconds after it was closed. Fair enough, but would you also get a penalty if it was just 1 second? Or does the race director make sure there’s no car […]

An unusual looking result but otherwise the racing was poor. Sainz never looked like he had a chance to pass Gasly, every car was stuck in a train.Francorchamps commented on the post, 'We aren't seeing the real Sebastian Vettel at the moment' – Horner 2 years, 5 months ago

Francorchamps commented on the post, Poll: Should F1 keep its superlicence points system? 2 years, 12 months ago
It was very convenient that the superlicence system was introduced just when the FIA wanted to promote their own product (GP2) over Renault’s FR 3.5 (although to be fair, it was already declining in driver quality […]

Interesting to see Leclerc only 4th and behind Sainz at the moment I’m writing this.
He doesn’t seem to get a lot of credit for beating a 4 times WDC with more than 10 years of F1 experience…Francorchamps commented on the post, If F1 wants to go green "we should stay home and forget the racing" – Raikkonen 3 years, 3 months ago

@hugh11 I had a look at the 1952 season, and it’s even more insane when you look in detail:

I don’t know if I’m the only one feeling this way, but every year my interest drops when the calendar reaches USA/Mexico. I love the tracks, Interlagos is a classic, but the WDC is often already decided and it […]
