You can watch F1 in SA and if you’re staying at a hotel the chances are pretty good. They need to have a full Premier DSTV package to view it. It’s the only way I know about and I haven’t figured out how to live stream it “illegally”. I personally can’t afford it but my Uncle has it so I walk to watch it.

@ben-n Thanks for the input. I’m going next year but will be choosing the pre-erected tents as I’ll be coming from South Africa and definitely won’t be carrying a tent around just for a few days use! Your trip sounds like it was a lot of fun and I hope mine will be too>
