Daryl commented on the post, Perez signs new, two-year Red Bull deal 2 months, 2 weeks ago
Gasly hasn’t done anything this year to really justify a promotion to RBR. Checo deserves this extension with what he has done there during his time there.
Daryl commented on the post, Hamilton disagreed with decision to delay start of Monaco Grand Prix 2 months, 2 weeks ago
I think after the Bianchi accident, F1 has decided to err far more on caution then have a wet race. Do I agree completely with their mindset, I don’t know. The Spa Q3 session last year when Lando had his major […]
Daryl commented on the post, "Frustrating" to be 1.2 seconds behind with a "decent lap" – Hamilton 4 months, 1 week ago
The biggest change is the PU. Everyone else has equivalent power or passed Mercedes entirely, and now those rules are locked in until 2026. Kind of like what Mercedes had locked in at the start of the […]
Daryl commented on the post, Why F1 drivers gave some differing views on whether new rules made passing easier 4 months, 3 weeks ago
From a reliability standpoint, absolutely. Something they didn’t suffer from at all last year, really.
Daryl commented on the post, Why F1 drivers gave some differing views on whether new rules made passing easier 4 months, 3 weeks ago
I think the biggest take away is that the Mercedes engine is now possibly the weakest of all manufacturers. Seeing 6 of those powered cars at the bottom during the race was very surprising. Ferrari power […]
Daryl commented on the post, 'No regulator in the world will be popular' with a title fight this intense – Masi 8 months, 3 weeks ago
And funnily enough, that started in Bahrain with Hamilton abusing track limits 27 times. Then when Max asks if he can do the same thing, the stewards clamp down at that very abuse of track limits. We are having […]
Daryl commented on the post, Give fans a say on whether F1 keeps sprint qualifying in 2022 – teams 10 months, 1 week ago
I like the fact that with one less practice session, there is so much less data for the teams to have, which makes the final race far more exciting, free tire choice for everyone is one part of it. To make the […]
Daryl commented on the post, F1 to discuss rules changes in response to Belgian GP controversy 11 months, 2 weeks ago
If there is no laps under green flag, how can they call something a race. Amazing that F1 has all their regulations for flexing wings, fuel monitoring, but they never once thought about postponing a race one day […]
Daryl commented on the post, Aston Martin considering appeal after FIA rejects request for review of Vettel disqualification 1 year ago
So FIA accept the new evidence that something happened, but don’t care. A sample must be provided, even when there is some kind of issue with the fuel system. I wonder if Aston will ever come out with how much […]
Daryl commented on the post, Mercedes accuse Red Bull management of attacking Hamilton's reputation 1 year ago
I can’t wait until a Red Bull is inside of Hamilton and a similar punting occurs on track.
Daryl commented on the post, Russell will not be announced as a Mercedes driver for 2022 at British Grand Prix 1 year, 1 month ago
There do not seem to be many seats available for Bottas if he gets punted out. Back to Williams, he may as well leave F1 if that is it.
Daryl commented on the post, Russell accepts he took too much risk with "team mate of sorts" in Imola crash 1 year, 3 months ago
With DRS wing open, less downforce at the back of the car. Russell found some wet bit of track and lost it and crashed into the Merc. Russell did that, Bottas left a cars width, Russell screwed up, and then was […]
Daryl commented on the post, Will F1's new Sprint Qualifying races enhance the championship? 1 year, 3 months ago
I don’t think the awarding of extra points will do much since it will likely be Lewis or Max collecting the majority of these points. It will cancel the bonus of some of the second runners at Merc or Red Bull […]
Daryl commented on the post, Russell and Bottas cleared of blame for race-stopping shunt 1 year, 3 months ago
Since there was barely one dry racing line, I don’t think DRS should have been enabled by the race director at this point in the race. The rest of the track was looking better for wider dry lines, but in this […]
Daryl commented on the post, Is Hamilton starting his final F1 season? Why this may not be his 'last dance' with Mercedes 1 year, 4 months ago
In 2022, George needs a much newer and more competitive seat. Continuing at Williams will not happen, so either Bottas or Lewis will have to make room if he stays at a Mercedes powered team. I say there is a 44% […]
Daryl commented on the post, Perez prepared for "massive challenge" of taking on Verstappen 1 year, 6 months ago
I just hope with Checo in the second car that we can get an extremely competitive constructor championship. The run of Mercedes needs to end.
Daryl commented on the post, Official: Australian and Chinese GPs postponed, Bahrain and Imola to open season 1 year, 7 months ago
4-week curfew just started in Quebec on the weekend, I don’t see Montreal having a race this year again.
Daryl commented on the post, Williams to use Mercedes gearboxes from 2022 1 year, 7 months ago
Since the Pink Mercedes was so successful, perhaps Williams should look at a white Mercedes for 2021 … ;)
Daryl commented on the post, Why Perez believes he can make a success of his second chance with a top team 1 year, 8 months ago
I think the RBR should easily outclass the Aston. But Stroll and Vettel both have a lot to prove. Can’t wait for the 2021 season to start now!
Daryl commented on the post, Team mate battles 2020: The final score – Russell vs Latifi 1 year, 8 months ago
So, finally tally, Latifi has three P11 race finishes to one for George in the Williams in 2020. Still, would rather see George in a black Merc or a Red Bull next year. Williams is a waste.
