This article is a huge jinx, take it down as fast as possible before Bernie sees it! :)

I imagine the most popular driver in the field getting the boot will do wonders for F1 viewership numbers for next year. I don’t see anyone else picking up his paycheck, considering he is clearly on the descent.

I don’t really know where they stand on the fund distribution food chain, but Williams could be a candidate. Their heritage should be enough of a protection against the wrath of Bernie.

Better than the Monaco one? Irony aside, kudos to Mercedes for nailing the strategy this time.

So it seems it’s not the Canadian hairpin’s fault..

This wasn’t the boring race everyone in the live chat said it was. It was average, therefore I gave it a 5. Canada was much worse, the first 80% of Monaco was the worst thing ever. Spain was worse in my view also. […]
Robert commented on the post, Monza and Imola could share Italian Grand Prix 7 years, 7 months ago
Bernie’s actual idea of those two sharing the Italian GP: call Qatar (insert other country with questionable human rights record and tons of money), call Tilke, have him cook up a combination of Monza and Imola […]

Being a massive Schumi fan I can remember about 3 or 4 times crying during his first career and I think I shed a tear when he got pole in Monaco in 2012 mostly because I had doubts whether he still had it or not. The most surprising moment for me was this year, Vettel’s victory in Malaysia, mostly because I was never a fan of his, but it was such…[Read more]

P.W. : “Man, these cars are so complex, how can you race in one of these?”

With honorable mentions to Sainz, Perez and Hamilton, I’m going with Mr. Button. Very good in quali, consistent in the race, brought McLaren their first points, not much more to say.

This sort of comment annoys me the most. People complain F1 doesn’t have any more good overtakes. In this era of hyper calculations and tactics, I like to see someone try and find a gap to pass on track. Nobody […]

This whole episode reminds me of Deedee pushing buttons in Dexter’s Laboratory. They had absolutely no idea what they were doing.

A 5 from me. Boring race until the last 15ish laps, then a lot of tension without any results. That said, without the promise of a wild finish which woke me up a bit, this would’ve been a 3 probably, this coming […]

Haven’t seen such a big blunder from a team for quite a while. Even if the gap was enough, why risk it? In Monaco, the one place where track position is paramount, you pit the race leader with 10ish laps to go. Go figure..

Don’t forget that guy who plays with the TV in between qualifying sessions on SkyF1. Also known as the failed Super Aguri guy.

@slava Hamilton fans can live with the fact that he finished tied with then 2xWDC en titre in the same car, in his first season. Can Alonso fans live with the fact that he couldn’t better a rookie?

So we’ll have 21 races and the first one will be in April (at least two weeks later than this year)? Boy, is it going to get hectic. That’s 21 if Bernie doesn’t get any ideas of dropping Spa or Monza or other […]
