@becken-lima You might not agree but I wouldn’t say crashes mattering is wrong. Since the start of F1 drivers have been respected because of the risks they take, and that risk is ultimately that they can have a […]
Also both Grosjean and his wife shared the footage which I think is an important factor.
I can appreciate their point of view but personally I think crashing is a key part of the sport, without it we wouldn’t appreciate how close to the limit they are, so it should be shown.
Obviously they did the […]

Obviously I doubt it will bother him much but this is almost definitely the end of Russell’s qualifying record.

I think they wanted to make sure no marshals were hurt either.

There aren’t any this year unfortunately @melmgreen
I really hope this goes through, it’s one of few tracks that has everything with a variety of tight corners, flat out sections, overtaking places, hills and grass run off. Not to mention unpredictable […]
glynh commented on the post, F1 drivers don't want their radio being broadcast? That's exactly why it should be 6 months ago
I enjoy the radio and hope it stays but I agree with vettel that we don’t get the full story. Realistically 99% of people are only going to hear what’s broadcast and not look for full transcripts for every driver, […]
That’s a good point, it’s easy to judge by our own standards but F1 drivers come from a variety of cultures and most don’t have English as a first language so what’s offensive to us might be everyday language or […]

‘Especially now in 2020 you have to be very careful with what you think’. That’s a very worrying statement.
I don’t think his comments were bad to be honest, I took him as referring to this year where Hamilton […]
I think the worlds becoming more polarised because too many people are trying to force others to believe the same as them. I don’t agree with his comments but they weren’t particularly hateful, just an opinion, he […]
glynh commented on the post, Should F1 freeze its engine formula after next season? 6 months, 3 weeks ago
Strongly disagree. As long as power units stay the same teams will converge in performance anyway as they seem to be doing it anyway.
F1 is a motorsport so if the teams are going to compete in developing cars […]
glynh commented on the post, Stewart: "Hard to justify" calling Hamilton the greatest driver ever 7 months, 1 week ago
I agree with him on nearly everything here except that Mercedes have an unfair advantage. I don’t like it, and it’s the main reason Hamilton is winning, but it’s a team sport and driver and team have earnt their […]
I think strangely equalling Schumacher is a bigger deal than beating him. He held all the records so to be as good as him is what people will remember rather than how many he’s been beaten by.

10. Ultimately an expected result but it was so nice to see drivers pushing hard and crashing instead of being able to take to the run off at other tracks. Great racing throughout the field.
I would have thought the sensible solution would be to force the teams to use the tyres that have been designed for next year.

I was thinking the same about the dog. Obviously it’s well trained but I bet moving it between countries is a huge amount of paperwork and distancing at the moment could be awkward.
