@specialk69 depends on whether Ben Bowlby signed any of the design patents over to the previous Delta Wing consortium, I suppose. Otherwise, you’re quite right, there have been many cases before of star F1 designers moving to different teams and carrying their design language with them.
20th October 2011, 14:35 at 2:35 pm #181545Michel S.ParticipantI live about 2 hours away, and Hockenheimring is very near to the Speyer Technik-Museum which offers a two-day pass for that and the sister museum in Sinsheim (30 mins away), so for those who’re in town for both qualifying and the race I’d recommend getting that package deal as well. Speyer’s old city is beautiful, and Sinsheim’s museum has a decent collection of F1 cars.

Not really, they’d only need that if they want to rename the chassis.

My favorite small teams are now Sauber and Virgin — though I don’t really like Richard Branson’s grandstanding much so probably mostly Sauber.
As far as the two “Lotus”es — I’d be backing Renault and Kubica, and ignore its Lotus sponsorship until Group Lotus mans up and actually take up a real stake in the team rather than just an option!
