The Mad Butcher is a chain of butcheries in NZ, where Mitch Evans is from.
Will be supporting him again this year. Anyone who watched last years GP3 finale will understand the stress levels the nation went through watching that race at Monza. Holey moley!
Ill be impressed if he can get regular top tens and some decent points finishes in the reverse grid races. He seems to have pretty good one lap pace24th January 2013, 3:54 at 3:54 am #223865
Though the point is moot, he didnt actually “retire”. He declared on his facebook page last night that he needed to take a break from racing to clear his head and over the last couple of months he has done just that.
As a fellow Kiwi I cant wait to see Shane on the grid in AV8’s and especially so in V8ST. And a little bit of drifting in that Rattla V8 should ease his stress levels a bit.17th January 2013, 3:12 at 3:12 am #200070
Cheers Stephen. No option from FOM for live timing other than their app? No streaming either? I really hope they come to some sort of arrangement, seems like a huge step back to me.
Ive got a 4 day pass to Brabham stand. Lived in NZ my whole life and been an F1 fan for ten years but never made the trip across the ditch. Despite trekking all the way to the UK, Belgium, and Canada for races in the past.15th January 2013, 23:29 at 11:29 pm #200068
What is the fanvision news? I used it at the British GP in ’10 and absolutely loved it, is it not available at this race? If not, what is the app you speak of?
