The dirtiest driver? You seem to imply that every time a driver deliberately bumps another driver he’ll get away with it.
Everytime a passing attempt is made, both drivers choose the intensity of […]
I struggle to come to terms with the concept of a racing driver who should abandon a corner to another driver. I grew up watching Senna and Scumacher, and that’s just not what I’ve come to expect. If two drivers […]
If they come head to head into a tight corner, I don’t see one of them backing off, nor should they. They’re racing drivers, as Hamilton himself said when he an Rosberg colided in ’16. Same mentality here, and we […]
I hope both 33 and 44 get through the first lap ok, and we see a nice fight for the win tomorrow.
Surprised about Norris, let’s see if he can improve through the race.
Perez and Gasly are showing us one of two […]
Well that’s a nice thing to do. Good on you, Lewis!
Monaco is a special race, and I gladly watch 10 processions in Monaco in a row for one overtake into the Loews corner in 10 years (thank you Mick Schumacher).
It makes it all worthwhile.
Well, i guess the only fair solution would be to award points for qualifying regardless of the race., I.E., pole=15 points, 2nd 10 points, 3rd-10th 9-1 points.
And then the race itself awards points as […]
Thats’ just so crazy it might even work!
If I'm not wery much mistaken commented on the post, No points should be awarded for Belgian GP – Norris 3 months, 1 week ago
How can they get any points if there was no racing?
The conditions beeing what they were, nobody can say canceling the race was the wrong choice, but let’s be honest about it, not pretend we just held a race, and […]
The problem isn’t that there wasn’t any racing, we can all agree there vas no visibility, and no conditions for racing.
The problem is they didn’t outright cancel the race, but forced a minimum amount of laps to […]
Well… That was a farce.
If there are no conditions for racing, just cancel the race, if postponing it is not an option.
Calling it a race and giving away points and podiums nobody deserved really doesn’t work […]
It’s a real testament to modern F1 safety that we’re hoping Norris’ car is rebuilt in time for the race, and nothing more.
Could’ve ended much, much worse.
Vettel obviously has a good cool head, and with his […]
To produce such a lap in a Williams, he left himself absolutely no margin for error. A brilliant and extremly brave drive.
Russel and Norris, what a generation of drivers!
I hope no team is dominant in the next […]
I hope Norris really is ok, and they manage to build a car in time for the race.
I was hoping for Norris’ maiden pole, and victory tomorrow, but I’ll have to wait a bit more. Not long, hopefully.
I agree, and if I were Wolff, I’d be knocking on Russel’s door with a shiny new contract with a Mercedes logo in the header.
But Wolff might think otherwise, and think that a stable driver lineup for a brand new […]
Who knows, I think the weather will be key. Williams, at least with Russel, could’ve gone for the full wet setting. If others went for some kind of compromise, and the rain is consistent, Russel could be up there.
I’d much prefer a steady, manageable rain comming down, a proper wet race, but without need for red flagging. We haven’t had one of those for ages now.
The speed and skill diference isn’t even debatable at this point. However, to use fowl language, Merc don’t know the pecking order for 22, and they may think having two roosters in the henhouse could be too risky.
Unbelieveable lap from Russel, great job. Hopefully the start is wet, because in the dry the Williams will fall back to it’s natural position.
Glad Norris is ok, hopefully they are able to rebuild the car in […]
