I tend to agree with you. This is how it is in every other sport I can think of. Obviously, they didn’t have a lot of time to deliberate, given how late in the race the incident occurred, but I think 3 […]

These are awful ideas for F1, although creative :)

I agree with many of the points here. However, I was surprised to see nothing about how F1 seems beholden to its broadcast contracts. They couldn’t speak to the drivers until 18:00 because of all the broadcast […]

What’s a peloton?
Jeremy commented on the post, Hamilton survives contact with Verstappen for Monaco win 3 years, 2 months ago
Hamilton will be known as the King of F1 during the era when it was its most boring and easiest to drive. Even Hamilton says it’s too easy. It’s all about the cars now, the drivers barely factor in. Move […]

@Dean – that’s not really a fair comment on Bottas. His race was severely compromised by Verstappen today. Verstappen’s mistake cost him an extra 5 seconds, but it cost Bottas an extra pitstop and two places.

Hulkenburg said that Leclerc was too aggressive with his overtakes. Agreed. And Leclerc was the only one doing any overtaking. Time to fix Monaco or look at scrapping this event because it is not a race […]

OH, i love this idea! The driver championship would then be awarded to the best driver, since all drivers would have driven the same car. Of course, there could still be an element of luck when for example, you […]

What a sad state of affairs that 70% of the cardboard are now backmarkers. The fact that the gap between 6th and 7th is almost always a lap or more is really turning this fan off of F1.
Maybe it’s Toto who n […]

I’ve booked my flights, got the accommodation, and paid for tickets (hope they come through), and was wondering if anyone else is attending next weekend? Just rewatched last year’s thriller..

I’m not really a Mercedes fan and I think Alonso would have too much pride to put his tail between his legs and crawl back to Ferrari. Maybe Renault?
Jeremy commented on the post, Should McLaren give up on Honda for 2018? 5 years, 3 months ago
Giving up on Honda is tempting, but ultimately a knee-jerk reaction that will cause long-term pain. They need to weather this one out and Honda needs to do whatever it takes to get a competitive engine, including […]

There was a guy who noted that, at the race, the V8 car was the only thing that existed in the moment it ran by. I pay almost $200 just for the race day ticket, and I do not want to be distracted by the mundane […]

Yes, the new engines sound good, if only I could hear them.
I watched FP2 on BBC yesterday and if not for the BBC commentary, I could have watched on mute.
Very, very disappointed. (And I am a recent fan not […]
