@johns23 But Verstappen always had a competitive driver on the other side of the garage. First with Ricciardo, but Gasly, Albon and Perez all have proven to be very competitive drivers, just not in a Red Bull car. […]

@johns23 Who says Sainz couldn’t push him as equally as Ricciardo possibly could, though?
Mashiat commented on the post, Vote for your 2019 Italian Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 3 years, 5 months ago
@johns23 Ricciardo was great this weekend, but I feel like the race wasn’t too difficult for him. Beating his teammate is an accomplishment, but the Renault was probably 4th fastest, and with Albon and V […]

@johns23 – Why does Bottas deserve another year? If you were saying he’s an ideal #2 driver for Mercedes as he provides reliable points but does not rock the boat. Okay. Agreed. But as a driver alone, he has 5 […]

@johns23 I disagree. Why on earth would Bottas deserve a fourth chance? It’s not like he’ll step his game up overnight? It’s his 7th year in F1 and not much will change next year I think.
Also I don’t see why […]

@johns23 What? Bottas looked absolutely gutted after the race.

@johns23 As if it was scripted… Bottas should ask for more money or look for glory elsewhere. Man’s got to make a living.

@johns23 Ferrari did have the car to beat in Canada. Their #1 driver failed to keep his car on the road, but their #2 driver was lapping half a second a lap faster. Unfortunately he had to give the tow to their #1 […]

@johns23) No, the start of a Grand Prix is one of the most spectacular events in the sporting world. Why take that away because of a lack of design knowledge on the part of the owners.

he should be up matching and even beating Vettel. If he (Leclerc) doesn’t, he wont last long in that seat.

Can’t say i am knowledgeable enough about that to say how that would work in F1 @johns23. But I’ve heard complaints from ppl that it is hard for privateer teams to survive in MotoGP as well, so not sure they have it solved.
BasCB commented on the post, Wolff: Let top teams run third cars for young drivers 4 years, 5 months ago
Great idea yeah. We’d have the top nine 1 Ferrari’s, Mercedeses and Red Bulls in many cases. Leaving the rest of the teams to fight over 1 single last point, exactly what the sport needs indeed @johns23.
Not to […]
