@jonathanproc i really Like the Arrows A23 but it is a rather weird choice for this. Also ruined the paintjob. Also also should have moved Silverstone forward for number 1000. Full Circle and all.

My friend @jonathanproc calculated that to be an average speed of 26342mph. I knew Red Bull had a top speed deficit, but that’s just ridiculous.

I do recall Rosberg scoring a few poles in a row but I wasn’t exactly sure when and how many – it was three in Bahrain, Spain and Monaco.
Cheers for the correction @jonathanproc.

@jonathanproc I was thinking gradual slope downwards to prevent spillage onto the track conceptually.
Again very valid point though: if course it would have to realistically be a feautire incorporated into the […]

Thanks for the elaboration @jonathanproc

Good point actually @jonathanproc – they don’t look much wider than a car’s width! I wonder how lenient they’ll be if a driver strays across whilst in the run-off area section of the pit lane.
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ricciardo confirmed as Webber's Red Bull successor 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc I disagree: the main component was the collision with the DRS board – “nearly hit” means didn’t.
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ricciardo confirmed as Webber's Red Bull successor 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc …hence omitting the DRS board.
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ricciardo confirmed as Webber's Red Bull successor 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc fair enough – I wouldn’t – but that wasn’t what was said in the initial comment ;) The DRS board is the main component.
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ricciardo confirmed as Webber's Red Bull successor 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc well I’m just pedantic then – I wouldn’t say nearly hit Ricciardo, I’d say hit the DRS board ;)
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ricciardo confirmed as Webber's Red Bull successor 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc I disagree as the connotations of “nearly” include beyond control and fortune: he wasn’t ever going to actually hit Ricciardo ;)
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Ricciardo confirmed as Webber's Red Bull successor 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc “nearly hit” implies to me that he was simply lucky to avoid contact, but I’m just pedantic over details ;)
However, it was a lack of vigilance to not account for the fact they’d be doing […]

Outperforming one’s teammate significantly is usually a factor taken into consideration. That’s part of why Alonso has been so highly rated since 2010. Button also beat Perez easily (and is 3rd […]

@jonathanproc it’s clearly worth something – you don’t normally win by 33 seconds (well, unless you’re Bianchi).
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Belgian GP driver of the weekend 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc I don’t see your point in pointing that out. I know he did, hence why many people I think have (justifiably) voted him DOTW. However, I didn’t because I don’t think his result was maximised and you […]

@jonathanproc well, he did. ;) 33 seconds is quite a lot.
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Belgian GP driver of the weekend 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc that’s possible, but in that case I’d simply have to say that the way in which Vettel dominated out front merited driver of the weekend then, since nobody has led every lap of a race before Spa.
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Belgian GP driver of the weekend 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc sorry, I wasn’t intending to say that, what I meant was that yes absolutely big gaps to your teammate aren’t always a good indication but they are sometimes.
Yes, Vettel did very well with his […]
Max Jacobson commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Belgian GP driver of the weekend 9 years, 5 months ago
@jonathanproc not always, but I think in this case it highlights just how well Vettel did – both sets of drivers started in very close proximity yet one finished 33.8s ahead and the other 2.1s; I really think the […]

@jonathanproc, I agree, Hamilton would have been a sitting duck on the straight, so this was the best try. I’d like to see their onboard graphics of the overtake. Was Alonso able to hit the rev limiter simply by […]
