Does anyone have any tips for flag poles at the campsite? Using spare tent poles has worked before but I don’t know what the soil is like at woodlands – would I be able to put it deep enough into the ground so that it doesn’t fall over?

I guess you’ll have to stick with the 8×8 as you’re not in a large group.

@Anscombes – As far as I’m aware your pitch size is based on how many people are in your party, so unless you have a huuuuge tent just for yourself you should be fine.

On Saturday would I be able to sit in the Abbey grandstand for P3 and then move to Becketts for qualifying?

Also, do I have to sit in the Farm Curve grandstand for the other races on Sunday too or is it that just for the F1 race?24th June 2012, 18:39 at 6:39 pm #194851JPParticipantThanks!

Is it simply the case that the first people to arrive will get to setup wherever they want (as long as it’s in the correct section, i.e. lively/quiet) and then the last to arrive will have to take the remaining spot? Or are you allocated a certain pitch?

13th June 2012, 16:50 at 4:50 pm #181405JPParticipantI’m planning on making a last minute purchase but I was wondering if I should buy a ticket for Village A or Farm curve. The panoramic image on the Silverstone website of the Farm Curve grandstand looks good – view of the Abbey (exit), Farm Curve (obviously), Village Corner and “The loop”. The image of Village A on the website didn’t really help because it doesn’t show what the view to the right side of the grandstand is like. I know that they are right next to each other but I just want to know if one is better/worse for any particular reason. Thanks in advance!
