Also, earlier in the year, we had a junior single-seater season courtesy of the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand. Fairly prominent with people like Evans, Marciello, Berthon and others. Nick Cassidy won that on […]

Porsche Supercup was wrapped up at Monza, same day as GP3. And, as I said on Twitter, Baron isn’t officially champion yet.

And thus my admiration of James Calado continues its trend of escalation. Mighty impressive guy.
Good on Haryanto as well, he clearly knows his way around in wet conditions.

Oh, I heard the “third car” rumours, but they don’t sound mighty likely. Both Ford and Citroen seem fairly unreliable as manufacturer teams and said outright that they would get out of WRC if the “third car” rule […]

Would be happy to see Kubica racing on such a level again, but it is a little concerning that this could mean even less available manufacturer seats for the likes of Novikov, Ostberg and Tanak.

Valentine Khorounzhiy commented on the post, How many points have drivers lost in 2012? 9 years, 10 months ago
Okay, well, since everyone else is having a stab, I might as well. I think one of the clearly potential championship leaders has been unfairly omitted here, so I’ll count the points he probably lost. The man in […]

Even with 34 points being conservative, I would’ve dropped seven from that… and perhaps added three afterwards. Don’t think we can go by his qualifying position to see how many points the guy lost – his race […]

Well, seeing how I’m not at all good with F1 history and could only really recognize the 1982 examples (due to the Autosport special), the only thing I can think of is Webber’s shunt in Valencia two years ago. […]

My bad. I looked at some FORIX numbers and decided it was gonna be 4 hours. They don’t seem to have any previous data for this track (or at least I didn’t look hard enough).

So, the last race of the season is gonna be what looks like 4 hours long? Insanity.

Top points, Casey. This is exactly on the money.
Yeah, you’re probably only saying it ’cause you’re leaving at the end of the year, but that doesn’t make you any more right.
