Amazing gift for Leclerc!
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Perez almost quit when car died on formation lap 1 week, 6 days ago
I was puzzled that Perez didnt try longer stints having good pace, didnt play the tire whisperer moto, 20 laps on Mediums, 20 something laps on Hards and ended on Mediums. I don’t have telemetry but i tought that […]
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix grid 2 weeks, 1 day ago
Perez result was bad due to pitlane choices mostly. The Q2 time was reasonable, 3 tents behind Verstappen on Mediums, but every midfield car did their laps on Softs and Perez was too tight on timing for another […]

A couple more dots: the driver signed by Red Bull is known for bringing backing with him and comes from the Team for whom BWT was title sponsor. Red Bull and BWT are both based on Austria, so having BWT as sponsor […]
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Aston Martin reveals Cognizant as title sponsor in first glimpse of F1 team livery 3 months ago
BWT is a free title sponsor. Red Bull has no title sponsor so far. Certain driver also moved from Team Silverstone to Team Milton Keynes, so marking the dots, is a Pink Bull coming thru?
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Why Stroll calls Aston Martin's multi-year Cognizant tie-up a "Lawrence-star" deal 3 months ago
Whoa thats juicy! That Cognizant title sponsorship sound a deal cut for Vijay! Or this Stroll Sr is just as fishy as the previous owner.

The drivers that managed better the tyres took the top results, Stroll did well but killed his front tyres twice, fast but in the end that was not what the race asked for, a pity and a a proof of Hamilton, Perez […]

After all the nice circuits from 2020 we go back to those dumb boring money painted arab circuits… Damn.
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Third rejection for F1's reverse-grid qualifying race plan 5 months, 2 weeks ago
There is not a single sensible proposal yet. It could be feasible but on the right conditions, for example a sprint race on saturday after qualy, reverse q2 grid, 100km race, no mandatory tyre change, points […]
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Ferrari's qualifying pace "very strange" – Green 6 months ago
Ferrari is looking for ways to optimize their downforce with less drag, and maybe working out engine mappings to give more power on a single lap but they cant hide the dog on a race distancie. Good that they are […]

Obviously they will race the wheels off against him, to be they guys that beat a RB with a midfield car.

Spatial awareness is overrated, look Vettel, he got 4 wc for himself without it.

2022 Alpha Tauri gets the championship on the hands of Gasly with Renault or Porsche/VW engine. Everytime Honda leaves they have a good engine or car, i dont get why the lack of commitment when they are going strong.

Well i dont have the numbers neither was able to find them on a single place but i have the feeling that in a lot of circuits the sf71h would be still susprisingly quick.

Funny they tested with a car probably faster than the current one.
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Little doubt over identity of replacement for "hurt" Perez at Aston Martin 7 months ago
Perez may become a sensible driver choice for Haas, brings a decent pair of hands and pockets with decent sponsorship money (makes decisions easier for Gene). But IndyCar is also a sensible choice if he can get a seat.
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Little doubt over identity of replacement for "hurt" Perez at Aston Martin 7 months ago
Stinks worse than Vijay business, the guy at least had some heart.
jpvalverde85 commented on the post, Why the FIA told teams it will ban 'quali modes' after this weekend's race 8 months ago
It wont be a big deal. A single engine program with the required mapings (8?) fixed (like the gearbox and ratios). Up to the driver to choose which mapping at what moment.

Well, sold is a very simple word to picture the circunstances where the team changed their owners. Vijay was making some questionable business till justice came for him.
