So Russians and Chinese aren’t our type of people.
They aren’t hypocritical enough for you?
A bit harsh on Ocon and Latifi, for mine.
Ocon did clunk with Tsunoda but at least was in the battle, unlike “my front wheel was level with his back wheel so he should have just got out of my way” Russell’s […]
Shouldn’t Nissany be banned from motor racing anyway because his country has invaded and is occupying another?

The rules should be a threat to him racing. They’re the rules. Apply them, even to this goat.
I want another team to protest him in practice and get it sorted before it impacts a race result.
HAM did the same thing to MAG as VER did to BOT at Monza a couple of years ago, i.e. failed to leave a car’s width, but no penalty.
ALO would have been penalised…
Oh dear, Mercedes mucked it up and now it’s everybody else who needs to change.
The FIA is doing the correct thing by enforcing rules on wear of the plank – teams facing a DSQ will have to make things better […]
Absolutely @slowmo – RIC and SAI are experienced drivers who are being regularly well beaten by their teammates in both qualy and race. ZHO however is really only being beaten in qualy, albeit by quite a margin […]

Have not seen them – were the mclaren employee’s comments about Lewis actually bad (e.g. racist) or were they more an opinion of his character (e.g. Lewis is an entitled dummy-spitting prat)?
Racism is not good […]

Seb for how well he came back after Melbourne, in an average car.

Speaking of clumsy, does anyone else think that it could describe Gasly’s driving?
Zhou, well advanced, looked like he expected to be able to go through the corner around the outside like in F2 and appeared to […]
I understand that they also have a changeable ratio multiplier gear on top of the eight, so that they can reach eighth gear at both Monaco and Monza, but the gears are all a lot closer together at Monaco.
I maybe one-eyed but Norris “led Ricciardo home even after managing late fuel scare” was only because Ricciardo “Respected team’s orders not to pressure Norris in final three laps”. It wasn’t a positive for N […]
Rugby players et al are required to remove all jewelry before being allowed to play, on safety grounds.
It’s not too much to ask car racing drivers to do the same.

Albon, Alonso and Leclerc were all brilliant over the weekend.

I am missing Turn 9 as it was one of the best spots to watch live.
Not mentioning any names, but one driver in particular just could not get the braking right and had lots of lockups there and quite a few […]
Many of the team principals don’t have any.
Absolutely, @petrucci. But F1 would be hypocrites to abandon the Russian GP due to their invasion of another country and then continue to race in Saudi Arabia who have … invaded another country.
It’s a rod that […]

What bugged me about Kayo was that it was still Murdoch.
The stewards will still let drivers from big teams keep their position but penalise the others. Just like white lines in qualy.
