I planned on signing up, as RTL in Germany is pretty rubbish and I used to watch on Sky Germany. However I couldn’t actually see how to do it on Android app, despite there being an update saying it included the subscription package. Now there’s issues I think I’ll wait until it’s mature. I don’t want to pay to be a beta tester and miss the sessions live.

Personally I thought Niki Lauda was one of the better points of RTL – their commentators are appalling and their long adverts were almost a relief from the drivel. We’ll see whether Sky Deutschland is an option for 2018, even if their coverage is not as good as the UK counterpart.

Maybe it’s been mentioned before, but I find the predictions submissions page could do with some form of postive feedback that the submission was made – at least for me pressing the Add Prediction button initially seems to have no effect so I try again. Eventually the page reloads and a few minutes later I get several emails, showing that the submissions did work.

Of course, it could be me, but without that positive feedback, how do I know whether the submission worked or not? Fine if I’ve got time to wait for the confirmation mail, but if I want to go out or qualifying is about to start then it’s a different matter.
