As much as I think Ted Kravitz is a fun guy, he’s beginning to seriously grate. Hardly an interesting point to bring to the table, but a lot errors and even blunders practically every race. He really needs replacing now. There’s a limit.
I watch F1TV and in Hungary now, the usual SKY commentary team with Croft was not on at the start of the race,…[Read more]
Wow – @banana88x with a great guess in March!
We seem to be getting some crazy races in recent years with strange results, but I’d still bet on Norris being the next new winner. Sainz is also coming closer and closer and seems to have settled in at Ferrari now.
Surely the next winner will come from:
Russell (in 2022)
I am currently running the below set-up
Fanatec CSW 2.5
Fanatec F1 Clubsport with the advanced paddle module
Fanatec CSL Elite pedals with a load cell
Next Level Racing Challenger seat.
The set-up is pretty good, although I would go for another seat/rig. The Challenger moves around too much and I even had them send me another centre column which…[Read more]
I think there’s a trade off between the Driver’s and the Constructor’s championships. Sacrificing a Perez/Red Bull 10th place to deprive Hamilton/Mercedes of a point is obviously net even for the WCC, but net positive for Max in the WDC, while Perez is too far off to be considered part of the fight for 1st. At this point, it’s the obvious thing to…[Read more]

Hi people. We’re excited to go to the british Grand Prix this weekend. We’re unable to go today (Friday), but we’re going on Saturday and Sunday.
We’re watching from Stowe A, hoping to be able to see the cars coming down the hangar straight, into one of the fastest corners on the circuit, and a great overtaking spot! I think we should have a…[Read more]
The last race I attended was USGP 2019. Some people waited hours before they could get on the bus to leave the track because there were not enough buses but the traffic was also obscene because there was a car for every two attendees on average (50,000?). The people who have the influence to change things flew in and out on helicopters and were…[Read more]

Discussion area for people going to the 2021 British Grand Prix. Will you be part of what is expected to be Silverstone’s first full house since the pandemic? What do you want to know about going to this race?
If you’ve been to this race before then please share your experiences here: Where did you watch? Where did you stay and how did you get t…[Read more]
After literally years of dithering I’ve finally committed to sinking some cash into a sim racing setup.
I’ve not gone for anything too fancy, I’ve decided the tried and trusted Logitech G920 is a good place to start for my wheel and pedal set and I’ve also got a Playseat RC0002 Challenge.
They arrive today and I cannot wait to get started!

They sponsor a lot of motorsports teams in WEC, IMSA, and GT World Challenge as well. The owner is a fervent Democrat advocate & donor. F1 and motorsport in general has been associated with questionable sponsors in the past and I think it will continue. Rich Energy, Sahara Force India, and others are recent examples.
@Napier Railton, you have some good picks. I first started watching F1 around 1981. While the ground effects era had some great ones like the Brabham BT49 you picked as well as the Williams FW07, Ligier JS11, Renault RE20 and RE30, Lotus 79, and Ferrari 126C2 among the top race winning cars others were less impressive like the Ensign N79, Theodore…[Read more]
