I will be getting the train to Northampton station and was planning on getting the F1 Service from there. Does anyone know if this will be ok?
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Should Red Bull lose points over 'illegal' floor? 10 years, 2 months ago
They should lose their constructors points for the last three races. If the has been deemed ‘illegal’ how can they be allowed to keep the points?
I do think that Vettel and Webber should keep their wins, […]

I voted for Hamilton. Yes Maldonado was great all weekend, but Lewis would have probably walked the race, he just looked so hooked up this weekend! Hamilton because he performed the best all weekend. I imagine […]
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Who will win the battle of the team mates in 2012? 10 years, 5 months ago
For me:
Vettel
Hamilton
Alonso
Schumacher
Raikkonen
Hulkenberg
Perez
Vergne
Senna
Kovalainen
De La Rosa

For me, a driver can offer consistency. Thats the single biggest thing they can contribute, as the skill for any driver that takes to the grid these days is evidently there (to varying degrees).
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Vote for the best F1 driver of 2011 10 years, 8 months ago
For me, Vettel, no question.
Sure notable mentions go to Sutil, Alonso and Button, but Vettel was consistently brilliant all season (baring the one exception of Germany). The thing that made that such a big […]

Suitil for me, under pressure for a drive but he delivered! No other driver stood out for me, too many already on their holidays…

No, its Charlie Whittings, but the teams and drivers do tend to voice their opinions on the matter. It it suits the team/driver they ask for a SC Start, and the other way around.
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Growing chance of rain on race day 10 years, 8 months ago
Last year was perfect conditions for a qualifying lottery! Drying throughout, with a Nico Hulkenberg making the top dogs look like amateurs :D
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Growing chance of rain on race day 10 years, 8 months ago
Even so Keith, SC Starts have been all too common in wet races during recent times.
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Growing chance of rain on race day 10 years, 8 months ago
I also agree, however if the track is too wet to race on, I believe throwing the red flag out is a better idea. As great a race as Canada was, about half the laps were run under the SC!
I understand that […]

+1, that would be a much better idea! Adds a tactical eliment and avoids situations where ‘DRS zones are too long/short’.
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Single DRS zone in Brazil and track changes for 2012 10 years, 8 months ago
The final section through Juncoa is brilliant, unique to any other section on any other track on the calender. I hope it remains the same.
However, if fatalities in races at the circuit are reduced, how can […]

Thoroughly enjoyed that, there was plenty of action for me, the DRS wasn’t too strong and there were many stand out performers. Highlight of the race for me was Hamilton and Webber battling through the middle […]

and of course the media pressure on LH is huge now, he managed to shut that out yesterday
Chris Holland-Skinner commented on the post, Vote for the Korean GP driver of the weekend 10 years, 10 months ago
DOTW by definition should be Lewis Hamilton, quick all weekend, great pole lap and fantastic drive to second in a slower car than Webber, no question for me. Loved the fight between LH and MW especially on lap 34 […]

Own up, which jokers gave more votes to Hamilton than Vettel! Im a bit Lewis fan, but he had surely the worst performance of his career while Vettel showed maturity to close out the championship! Vettels lap in […]

Vettel had a huge car advantage in Turkey and Valencia though, although Button had the quicker car in Japan, it was touch and go. Jenson is clearly driving beautifully right now, and has been since Canada. That […]
Chris Holland-Skinner started the topic Sebastian Vettel Or Fernando Alosno. Who Will Be The First To Three World Titles? in the forum Formula One 10 years, 10 months ago
I was just reading James Allen’s blog, and he mentioned that Alonso has challenged Vettel to see who can be the first to three world titles. I just wondered what you guys all though? Heres my opinion:
Alonso in my view is the most complete driver right now, up there with Schumacher in his prime (although just below that level). He is the only man…[Read more]
