I agree. Lapping is responsibility of the faster car; lapped cars on the racing line but must not defend (nor be boneheads). Lapped cars still need to be given blue flags, though, IMO.

Of course we’re all assuming 2 things : 1) Schumacher-Hakkinen 2000 = Verstappen-Raikkonen 2016 and 2) Schumacher, therefore bad.
