Krislord commented on the post, Information overload? Which motorsport series has the most effective TV graphics package? 2 weeks, 5 days ago
Is there any motorsport where showing throttle and brake information is actually useful?
We have it on the halo and it’s just pointless.
Surprisingly they brake when they need to slow for a corner, it’s a c […]
Krislord commented on the post, Power cut caused by heavy rain delayed start of Monaco Grand Prix 3 weeks, 6 days ago
I think the 3 hour rule is pretty sensible. If they’d started at the right time and then red flagged when the rain was too hard and then restarted promptly they’d have fitted it into the 3 hours.
If you go too […]

Stuff didn’t work because it got wet?
The FIA really need to look into how this event was managed.

Simple solution.
Drive faster than the opposition on your first run and then you’ll not be behind it someone hits the wall. /s
Krislord commented on the post, Alonso becomes first driver to take power unit change penalty in 2022 1 month ago
Is this a change for tactical reasons?
If they’re already near the back and know they’ll need a 4th engine they might as well take one today.
Krislord commented on the post, 'It's totally ridiculous' not to follow FIA's safety rules on underwear and jewellery 1 month, 1 week ago
A driver who didn’t follow the rules is now insisting current driver should follow the rules?
Krislord commented on the post, Why Hamilton isn't the only driver questioning the FIA's jewellery clampdown 1 month, 2 weeks ago
In sports with bans there is generally physical contact between the athletes and therefore It’s sensible to have a rule.
A driver in a cockpit of the car presents no risk to other drivers by wearing a n […]
Krislord commented on the post, Why Hamilton isn't the only driver questioning the FIA's jewellery clampdown 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Drivers crash into concrete and nothing seems to be done to fix it.
Wear jewellery and you’re threatened with a fine or race ban.
The FIA seem to have their priorities wrong.
If the rules aren’t rel […]
Krislord commented on the post, F1's first Miami Grand Prix gets "nine out of ten" from Wolff 1 month, 2 weeks ago
He can’t exactly say anything else though can he?
You’re never going to get an objective view of a new race from a team principal especially one carrying the name of a major car manufacturer.
Krislord commented on the post, Should Formula 1 adopt IndyCar's deleted lap times rule for causing red flags in qualifying? 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Definitely not, it would mean drivers don’t push if they feel the chances of going faster are outweighed by crashing.
A better option is to not penalise drivers who are on track during a red flag – I don’t thi […]
Krislord commented on the post, F1 alters configuration of Imola's DRS zone again 2 months ago
Isn’t the idea that no driver will brake or lift off there? I think they’re trying to avoid the issues from playing cat and mouse when the detection point is just before a corner.
Krislord commented on the post, Is it time to let F1 drivers race on after catching Covid? 3 months ago
Drivers need to remember they’re part of a team. How many people will they pass it on to if they race whilst infectious?
Allowing people with covid to race is honestly such a stupid idea you’d think Boris Joh […]

I’m surprised at this, I had assumed they’d try and race there next season.
Good decision!
Krislord commented on the post, FIA puts restrictions on Russian competitors but stops short of barring drivers 3 months, 3 weeks ago
I’m a bit on the fence with this, the more I think about it the more I think it’s the right decision even though I don’t like Mazapin.
Russian sports teams have been banned but have football teams outsi […]
Krislord commented on the post, F1 "monitoring the situation" as Russia's invasion of Ukraine casts doubt on Sochi race 4 months ago
Typical F1.
Even if things stopped tomorrow, Russia invaded its neighbour. F1 shouldn’t be considering going at all.
Krislord commented on the post, Mazepin confident Russian GP will go ahead despite sanctions 4 months ago
I’d like to hope it would be cancelled, but even if it is it will be a last minute and face saving effort by F1 after they have been pressured by sponsors and drivers to pull out.
Krislord commented on the post, F1 tweaks Safety Car un-lapping procedure following Abu Dhabi controversy 4 months, 1 week ago
This sounds a dangerous and short sighted change.
Cars will be unlapping themselves as others are heating their tyres preparing for a race restart.
Krislord commented on the post, Nothing unusual about restart 'deal' conversation with Red Bull – Masi 6 months, 3 weeks ago
At first I thought it was odd, but then I compared it what happens normally when a driver passes off track and the FIA tell them to swap places and it’s pretty much the same scenario.
Under race conditions t […]
Krislord commented on the post, F1 teams not at risk of exclusion over new rear wing tests in Qatar 7 months, 1 week ago
The comical thing about all these red bull complaints is they act as though no one has seen the videos of their wings flexing/fluttering, haven’t seen them repairing wings with tape during sessions or read the F […]
