Snow? No way! I’ve been in Sochi a few times, and usually it’s pretty warm in the beginning of October, around 20C.
That last stat shows how Alonso enjoyed incredible reliability in his years at Ferrari. In that regard, Vettel is very unlucky compared to him, and if I remember correctly, he almost always DNF’ed when he was leading.

Completely agree with COTD. The teams have a better information on Hulk than we do, and clearly they weren’t impressed enough with him to choose him over drivers they chose.

Vettel was the best in the first half and the best in the second half, and yet some people try to make it look like he was helped only by the tyre changes. He was the best driver this season, period. Phenomenal consistency.
