@minnis The slighter a turn or curve is, the less likely for a car to go wide past the white line/curbing like at several tighter corners, such as Bahrain’s T4, Silverstone’s Copse, or the other two target ones of […]

@minnis Yeah, knowing that now, ‘forgetting’ is not really an excuse. It could have been a lot worse.
@minnis i remember (and always will remember spa 08) one race ham gave the position back, and competitor crashed out on his own, yet ham was penalized i think 25 sec? to give the win to massa! that was the most […]

That was Mika Salo talking with Kristian Sohlberg via twitch.
@minnis I didn’t misinterpret your point but got what you meant. If anything, the other way round.
@minnis No, I wasn’t trying to argue with you anymore. Merely pointing out how rallying is generally.
@minnis Yes, WRC has those so-called super special stages, which are often head-to-head battles, but on an ordinary special stage, a driver only attempts to drive through a specified section from start to finish […]
@minnis I’m not sure why you’re referring to WRC, even though rallying is different from circuit-racing in that it’s always only against the clock from point A to point B.

Well, his blocking of Hamilton in F1 was pretty bad @minnis, but especially so since it reminded us of an incident in Monaco years earlier that got a Marshall seriously injured and actually earned him a ban for […]
@minnis Conversely, you could say Racing Point has gotten pole at every single race so far (bar 1), but with their 2021 car instead…
@minnis Fair enough, so F1 super licenses should be open to all forms of Motor sport if they can prove skilled enough? Obviously there would need to be a minimum level, because I understand it’s called F1 for a reason.
@minnis Honda’s in those series for marketing; its presence in F1 was primarily to develop engineers. So it’s 50/50 whether those other programmes will be canned soon, or whether they’ll continue.
I think those could be factors @minnis, but if Honda are looking at carbon neutrality in general then they are probably also looking at the carbon footprint of traveling to races all over the world. In IndyCar […]
Good point @minnis, I don’t think it has anything to do with the technology or green, it’s that Honda chose the worst possible way to do F1. They have massive costs, much less exposure than a team, no prize […]
