If anything has become clear regarding Sir Stewart’s comments over the past few years, it’s this: the man clearly has something against Lewis Hamilton.

Damn, I was always a big fan of Norbert. In many ways he reminded me of a fat, older version of Vettel- kind, funny, soft spoken, but incredibly passionate and competitive. I wonder what this means for Hamilton, […]

Thanks for the birthday wishes, Keith! I look forward to it every year

Nice to see my hometown newspaper (Chicago Tribune) in the round up! Wasn’t expecting that. Anyway, I’m pretty damn proud to be an American right now. F1 came back to the USA as a roaring success, and I think it’s […]

Canberra, that is just blatantly wrong. I’m a Hamilton fan, for sure, so I will defend him, but I mostly like to see fairness and (relative) lack of bias in these forums to promote good discussion. I mean, how can […]

I’ve said it about 10 times so far this year, and I’ll say it again: this is the dumbest and least fair rule in F1. To punish an athlete, in any sport, for something completely random and out of his control is […]

Wow, if you thought Silverstone and Hoeckenheim were boring, then I have no idea how you managed to watch F1 from 1992-2009 (if you did at all, that is)…
Also, as an American, I love Silverstone, and think it […]

I think it’s hilarious that Vettel gets very little criticism in this regard, whereas Hamilton (and, in the past, Alonso) seem to bear the brunt of the “entitled boy-racer” stigma. Sure, Vettel seems like a very […]

What, exactly, makes you think Button will be up there instead of Hamilton? Honestly just curious, as he’s pretty much been embarassingly slower than Lewis all season.

Can’t help but agree. I don’t think Jenson is a whiner, I just think there’s a time and a place for his observations about developing the car, and that’s not when he’s in the car on the radio with an exasperated […]

Very interesting indeed. Although, if you count full F1 seasons, then Vettel also holds that honor. Discounting his time at Torro Rosso in 2007, he’s poled and won in every full season he’s raced.
MylesW commented on the post, "It's unbelievable how close it is" – Hamilton 9 years, 11 months ago
I actually thought this was the best, most exciting race of the season so far. Drivers pushing to their limits for fast laps on some strategies, others going for the one stop and trying to make the tires last. […]

Lewis is “marginally” quicker in qualifying? Really? He beat Button 14-4 in 2010. Last year, Lewis was 17-2 in qualifying (if you include the chances where he was clearly quicker than Button, but […]MylesW commented on the post, "All the teams understand the tyres now" – Marko 9 years, 11 months ago
He’s sensitive to the car’s setup
I love this one. It’s the go-to excuse for Button fans. You think saying that makes his poor performances justifiable? “Hey guys, Jenson’s consistently been […]

As much as I love Jenson as a person, we’re really seeing the “regular” JB this season, especially when you compare him to an on-form Hamilton. Bar non-driver penalties and team mistakes, Hamilton would be WAY […]

Having tires that no one can understand is like having a lottery system. It totally demeans the sport, and doesn’t let the real talent stand out. Yeah, I guess it’s kind of exciting to see guy like Perez up at the […]

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m ecstatic about this news. Sick of seeing any Joe Schmo in any car winning because his tires are working better. I should also note, that you, @Fer-no65, are absolutely […]
