mrfill commented on the post, Norris commits to McLaren with new "multi-year" deal 5 months ago
I see no mention of Ron Dennis who got shoved out mid-2017. Since then they have got rid of a lot of the dead wood and rebuilt themselves into a competitive team. Zak was virtually invisible at that time and, up […]

Meanwhile, in other parts of the track the limits will be controlled by Mr Armco and he is not subject to any dispute.

Racing around a car park… reminiscent of the Las Vegas GP in the 80s. Terrible track, terrible location and abandoned after 4 races.
Are they going to update to a GP2 engine? ;)

I think I need my eyes testing as the bull on the RBR car looks decidedly red to me, on a yellow background.
Does anyone see it as yellow?
mrfill commented on the post, Lawrence Stroll rubbishes "totally untrue" Aston Martin sale rumour 8 months, 3 weeks ago
You could ask why Bernie needs at least £2500 million. If he spent a million every week, he’d still have plenty left in 2065.
The yacht represents about 0.28% of his wealth – peanuts. He probably misheard and […]

Are motorbike exempt from the laws of aerodynamics then?
Motogp has lots of wings and fins and things poking out underneath all in the name of aero. Anyway, a Racing Director is there to employ the best aero man […]
mrfill commented on the post, Should Hamilton decline his long-awaited knighthood? 9 months, 3 weeks ago
I’m still waiting for John Surtees – who, uniquely, managed to be a World champion in F1 and bikes – to get his knighthood. And he didn’t scarper off to avoid paying tax.
mrfill commented on the post, Sainz: It will be tough to match "great talent" Leclerc 9 months, 3 weeks ago
Sir Learie Constantine (in 1962), Sir Garfield Sobers (in 1975) and Sir Clive Lloyd (in 2020) are all in ‘the club’ so your racist suggestion is pure drivel.
Renault Sport F1 could be renamed to something really wacky, like Alpine F1.
I shall write to the chairman instantly…
That’s being very unkind to both land yachts and Lego…
Crikey! That 2005 Red Bull is one ugly beast.
mrfill commented on the post, Haas 'weren't really racing' in finale, admits Magnussen 10 months, 1 week ago
Haas haven’t looked like they’ve been racing for much of this season. Perhaps the new boys will do better, although I’m not too optimistic.
The man behind Albon was over a minute behind Verstappen and he was only 1.5 secs behind the 8 times champ in the most successful car this season. I reckon that’s nothing to complain about.
When McLaren got caught cheating, they lost ALL their constructor points and $100m in a fine as well as the prize money (which would have been substantial).
When Racing Point get caught cheating they lose 15 […]

Nice to see the authorities saw fit to not impose the 4 day self-isolation requirement for F1 arrivals after the 8th December. One rule for them …….
mrfill commented on the post, Ferrari CEO Camilleri retires "with immediate effect" 10 months, 2 weeks ago
“personal reasons” – is that a euphemism for the old horses-head-in-the-bed routine?
Maybe, although its not exactly been a rip-roaring success with two experienced drivers so far. Haas have nothing to lose really and much to gain. McLaren haven’t done too bad with a rookie and a young driver.
