It maybe efficient, but I fail to see how it’s not political @mrmuffins.
The military as a whole are a political tool (budget size, type of spending, use of the force…).

Thank you! I saw the race yesterday. I thought it was pretty much like Formula 1 a couple of years ago. The cars could follow each other closely and there were many different strategies. I think the […]

Not to mention it was a tight street course with little room for passing in many places. Dozens of meaningful passes was extraordinary.
I think it rather diverts it upwards, or sideways instead @mrmuffins. Pretty sure that was one of the situations the FIA modelled, since it is one of those things that tend to happen (cars’ noses sliding up or […]
@mrmuffins It was a last-minute attempt to stop Halo from being mandated – on the off-chance that the simulator results had not been replicated on-track, it is possible that there would have been a further delay […]

@mrmuffins They wouldn’t be able to do that now because Indycar is now a spec chassis series (Unfortunately). They could build an engine but it would have to run in the same Dallara chassis everyone else has.

@mrmuffins Instead they now get a lesson in subtlety, social interaction (because you can talk to the person next to you & they can hear you, to boot) AND a science lesson, if you like.
VALUE FOR MONEY ASSURED!

@mrmuffins They were/are looking at some form of screen/canopy, However they are suffering from the same problem Vettel described during his Silverstone test of the shield…. That been image distortion which on […]
@mrmuffins The only reason the chassis manufacturer’s pushed for exclusive deals is because they make more money that way. Dallara selling cars to 10+ teams is obviously going to be more profitable for them than […]
