Excellent COTD. There is a lot to look forward to next year, but it’s a shame that Mark will not be a part of it.
He wasn’t the best driver on the grid, but he has a strong fanbase which can’t be said for […]

@keithcollantine My outer 19 year-old has a picture of Jenson and Lewis driving their MP4-27s on his wall. I thought that was a beautiful car, particularly in the first few races

Vettel by a mile, marginally off of pole position but embarrassed everybody in the race. His gap even after the first lap was incredible.
Honourable mentions to Rosberg for a quiet good result and for doing a […]

Is there a chance that Kimi won’t bother starting the race now, given his recent threats?

It seems that F1 is not the only sport that greenpeace is targeting! Here’s a video that shows another protest at a champions league football match between Basel and Schalke
Douglas commented on the post, Domenicali unhappy at continued booing of Vettel 9 years, 4 months ago
I don’t think the booing this year is entirely personal, I think it’s frustration that Red Bull and Vettel are so good and that other teams are failing, when at the start of the last two seasons it looked like the […]
Douglas commented on the post, Doubts over Alonso's willingness to accept Raikkonen 9 years, 5 months ago
Couldn’t agree more with the COTD. Felipe should not have been kept beyond the 2011 season, but now that he is going it is a sad moment.
We haven’t seen much of his old magic, but after his crash we couldn’t […]
Douglas commented on the post, 'Many teams choose money over ability' – Kobayashi 9 years, 6 months ago
@andae23 I apologise, I took your comment to “fix” the sport as diversity for its own sake. I’m sure it’s a matter of time when we see a woman/women in F1, and an investigation is probably is what is needed to […]
Douglas commented on the post, 'Many teams choose money over ability' – Kobayashi 9 years, 6 months ago
@andae23 As I said to one of your posts above, I don’t agree that there is a problem in F1 or motorsport that needs to be fixed, it’s just that girls in general are not as interested in motorsport as boys, and so […]
Douglas commented on the post, 'Many teams choose money over ability' – Kobayashi 9 years, 6 months ago
Is there a problem though? I think it’s a lot simpler. I think at the age you have to be to start your career in racing – before 10 anyway – I think that the vast majority of people trying to get into karting will […]
Douglas commented on the post, Vote for your 2013 Monaco GP driver of the weekend 9 years, 8 months ago
Can only be Nico Rosberg for me. Fastest in all practise sessions and led every lap to a well controlled victory. Perhaps most impressively he took his third pole position in a row against qualifying specialist […]
Douglas commented on the post, Pirelli bring tyre changes forward to Canada 9 years, 9 months ago
@poul The reason Pirelli haven’t changed their tires until now is because Pirelli by their own admission didn’t get them right, they aimed for 2-3 stops and got 4 and we have seen a few delaminations plus Alonso […]
Douglas commented on the post, Glock returns to BMW with DTM test in Valencia 10 years ago
@prisoner-monkeys Of course they haven’t approached each other, he has only been out of a job for a few days! Granted, he probably knew what was coming but I doubt that would have given him much more time to find […]

+1
The pace of the Toro Rosso’s was amazing, both in the top 10 when they are only really quicker than the Caterhams, Marussias and HRTs!Hulkenberg gets my vote though, his moves on Hamilton and Grosjean were brilliant
Douglas commented on the post, Vettel takes championship lead with hat-trick of wins 10 years, 3 months ago
I’m sorry Pamphlet but if Alonso had been able to finish Japan and Spa, he would have finished ahead of Felipe, you can’t doubt that on Alonso’s current form. Granted, Alonso could have avoided his tangle with […]

And what about the rest of the season? How did they compare for all of those races?
Douglas commented on the post, Hamilton becomes focus of 2013 F1 driver market 10 years, 5 months ago
I guess not, if his loss of form this year is anything serious to go by. I would add though, that his loss of form might not have been so severe if the McLaren car was as quick as it is now or at the start of the […]
Douglas commented on the post, Hamilton becomes focus of 2013 F1 driver market 10 years, 5 months ago
I think the person who will benefit the most from Lewis leaving McLaren has to be JB. Assuming McLaren don’t sign another world champion as his team-mate – Kimi or MSC – then Jenson will surely get the no.1 […]
