Exactly @bascb and the solution to that is obvious too. When the safety car lights go out the leading car controls the pace and the following cars have to stay within say 3 car lenghts of the previous car.

aww cute, here we go again. Welcome Back ! I was worried, really missed your hatred. Well, would you like some cheese to your whine? :*
Seriously though Vettel is a what you need to be to become a 4 times WDC. […]

So “gap to personal perfect lap” shows what I thought it shows.
The “race: start versus finish” I get too. But it’s problematic because when I hover above p19 it says Mexico. That’s the last time he started […]

A talented young guy. Seems genuinely fast in qualifying and race trim but been too cautious at the starts for now. And such a likeable chap! Looking forward seeing him in a faster car.
Can someone explain […]

580 ain’t much compared to 2291 Aral service stations for example.
NasiBoring commented on the post, Kubica confirmed as Alfa Romeo reserve driver and Orlen as title sponsor 2 years, 7 months ago
Saying Star is widely present in Germany is an overstatement. The logo is somehow familiar (wouldn’t have linked it to a fossil fuel company though) but I can’t name you even one Star service station in my area. […]

I love that column. Reminds me of Hunter S. Thompson. You know, some Gonzo-Vibe, well minus the drug abuse ;D

Shouldn’t they harvest enough energy in sector 2, at least enough to have that boost while accelerating (where they gain most out of it) on the s/f-straight?

Please enlighten me @carlosmedrano where did you read that it was Vettels fault? Give me some proper source, because i really don’t see it.

No man, Merc still the car to beat. I see where you’re coming from so I’m telling you as a german Vettelfan. Yes, Lewis Hamilton is the best driver of his generation! Best driver in the best car, nothing wrong […]

I don’t know @dmitri-czubak You’re right, that he’s loosing the rear in situations where he is engaged in close battle. Disagree with the ‘nonsystematic’ moves though, more like he isn’t anticipating his loss of […]

@socksolid Nobody spins out on power anymore.
Seb seems to. I thougt because he’s being too eager on the throttle but i could be wrong. Apart from him I generally agree with your points.

Agreed, the camerawork in f1 is abysmal. I discussed this with my only (!) fellow left whos still watching f1 the other day. They seem to focus on one car, zoom in, following it closely and the result is that […]

There’s no benchmark regarding Russell yet. So that would be a huge gamble.

Never said anything about a specific stragy. What I believe is that there is a discrepancy regarding what he says here and how he behaves on track.

Sure, about 2 months ago I would have agreed with you. But Ocon seems to be out of the Merc for at least 2 years. If he does not emancipate himself now he’s bound to be the nr 2 driver of his generation.
NasiBoring commented on the post, Bottas blames himself for points gap to Hamilton 2 years, 10 months ago
Who is he kidding? As long as he obeys teamorders sacrificing his own race he will never be a serious title contender. Man up, be ruthless, tell James to stick it up and see what happens

You’re right, except the gap was moving the other way towards Verstappen.
