Albon drove I solid race but I think he could have done better. He only finished 30s in front of Verstappen who limped an entire lap back to the pits after his puncture and had to overtake the entire field on one […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Pirelli: "We went in the wrong direction and we need a different approach" 2 years, 9 months ago
I think it says something about how much teams were managing tyres by decreasing their pace. So the delta between the quickest lap time and average lap time was twice as big compared to previous years.
Neviathan commented on the post, Vote for your 2019 German Grand Prix Driver of the Weekend 2 years, 9 months ago
Qualifying P2 in a Redbull, having a bad start, doing a 360 spin and still winning the race with a comfortable lead says enough, Verstappen was on fire the whole weekend.
Neviathan commented on the post, No need to penalise Hamilton for crashing at Leclerc accident scene – Masi 2 years, 9 months ago
The problem is that since that passing of Charlie Whiting the rules are interpreted very literally. The idea is to punish drivers who create dangerous situations or try to gain an unfair advantage. Lewis crashed […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Hamilton aims to get a "working class kid" into F1 2 years, 10 months ago
@Pierce Wiederecht
Mercedes seems to have to same idea, Bottas keeps getting 1 year contracts and even though he started great this season a couple of bad performances could mean Ocon gets the seat next year.
Neviathan commented on the post, Lapped Gasly needs a 'Control-Alt-Delete' – Horner 2 years, 10 months ago
In other sports, like football, when they say they have full trust in the trainer it means he’s about to be sacked. In the case of Gasly I think its a little different because Redbull doesnt want two superstar […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Wolff: keep regulations stable to strip Mercedes advantage 2 years, 11 months ago
@tifoso1989
I think Ferrari’s PU isnt much better (if any) than Mercedes’. The main difference comes from the amount of downforce they produce, Ferrari going for less drag and Mercedes going for more downforce […]Neviathan commented on the post, F1 is "the championship of the tyre working range" 2 years, 11 months ago
Nobody can get the tyres to work, there’s less downforce on the cars and still many lap records are being broken this year. Something doesnt seem to be adding up here..
Neviathan commented on the post, Introducing more standard parts to F1 is "tricky", says Wolff 2 years, 11 months ago
Its not like its only Seb who’s making mistakes (although he seems to be coping poorly with the pressure at times), there were many bad strategy calls (Silverstone 2017) and a lot more technical issues compared to […]
Neviathan commented on the post, F1 engine complexity now "way too high" 3 years ago
The road relevance is also something that was important in the past but seems to be less practical each year. The road car industry is moving towards renewable energy sources but will that direction for F1 improve […]
Neviathan commented on the post, "It's going to be massively quick": F1 drivers on Zandvoort's return 3 years ago
May weather in The Netherlands can be wet, dry, cold, hot and anything in between. Its usually a relative good month, last year the temperatures were in the mid 20 degrees but this year is barely over 10 degrees.
Neviathan commented on the post, Hamilton on F1's final race before Halo: "It's the last year where the cars will look good" 4 years, 6 months ago
Williams already complained about the required impact resistance, the Halo needs to be relatively heavy in order to pass the test. This heavy bulky construction will be mounted high on the car which will reduce […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Give Liberty time to make F1 changes – Steiner 4 years, 6 months ago
Following a car closely effects the aerodynamics very badly so without DRS it would be impossible to overtake on some circuits. If they want to remove DRS they should first reduce the aero disturbance the cars […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Ricciardo: Verstappen was penalised because he cut the corner 4 years, 6 months ago
Bottas is too correct to be a top driver, if someone wants to overtake you should try to force him into a mistake. Staying on the racing line is honorable but it makes overtaking relatively easy
Neviathan commented on the post, Ricciardo: Verstappen was penalised because he cut the corner 4 years, 6 months ago
Exactly my thoughts, the FIA sees cutting a corner as gaining a lasting advantage but running wide gets treated like a disadvantage for the driver because he covers more distance. In many cases the drivers will […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Horner calls penalty "appalling", Verstappen blames "idiot steward" 4 years, 7 months ago
He did leave the track but so did others while overtaking, nobody gets a penalty except Verstappen

Mercedes would also win 100 out of 100 on Indianapolis
Neviathan commented on the post, Kvyat loses seat to Gasly for Malaysian Grand Prix 4 years, 8 months ago
Its not like he didnt get the chance to prove himself. Kvyat does reasonably well during qualifying 6 wins vs 8 loses against Sainz. But on race days he consistantly messes up, he only scored 4 points with 5 DNFs. […]
Neviathan commented on the post, Verstappen's a tougher team mate than Vettel – Ricciardo 4 years, 8 months ago
Lewis is 32 year old and he’s in his prime right now. Daniels easily has 5 years to get his world championship

Put Max in the other Mercedes and see if Vettel can still fight for the world championship
