You will have a perfect view of the start I think :)

31st December 2012, 9:10 at 9:10 am #220839NickVMemberI find myself agreeing with Joey, this years Monaco GP was one of the most exciting of the year for me, the tension towards the end was mega, one mistake by one of six drivers would have changed everything.
Overtaking is important but F1 is not and never has been about hundreds of overtakes a race. If that is what you want watch NASCAR. The rate we’re going with these fake DRS overtakes, it will be like NASCAR where 95% of overtakes are not mentioned by commentators as they are too regular and therefore not special enough to warrant mentioning. Don’t get me wrong I do enjoy overtakes and they are important to each race, but I like to see a driver have to work hard to overtake as this makes it more exciting, as does the fact it is a more rare occurrence and therefore more special and rewarding when it does happen.

1. Australian Grand Prix – Albert Park Circuit
2. Malaysian Grand Prix – Sepang International Circuit
3. Chinese Grand Prix – Shanghai International Circuit
4. Indian Grand Prix – Buddh International Circuit
5. Spanish Grand Prix – Motorland Aragon
6. Monaco Grand Prix – Monte Carlo Street Circuit
7. Canadian Grand Prix – Circuit Gilles Villeneuve
8. United States Grand Prix – Circuit of the Americas
9. British Grand Prix – Silverstone Circuit
10. German Grand Prix – Shared between Hockenheimring and Nurburgring
11. Hungarian Grand Prix – Hungaroring
12. French Grand Prix – Circuit Paul Ricard
13. Russian Grand Prix – Sochi Circuit
14. Belgian Grand Prix – Circuit de Spa Francorchamps
15. Italian Grand Prix – Autodromo Internazionale di Monza
16. Singapore Grand Prix – Marina Bay Street Circuit
17. Japanese Grand Prix – Suzuka International Racing Course
18. Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Yas Marina Circuit
19. South African Grand Prix – Cape Town Street Circuit (doesn’t exist but was talk of it a few years ago and I think there should be a race in Africa)
20. Brazilian Grand Prix – Interlagos29th November 2012, 18:23 at 6:23 pm #216313NickVMember1. Alonso

Abu Dhabi:
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5740128
I have used the second S bend in the first sector and have also got rid of the chicane and opened up the hairpin and brought it forward so there is enough run-off without the chicane. The chicane halfway down the straight has been opened up to improve the flow of the circuit, and I have cut out the chicane at the bottom of the circuit to increase the speed into the fast right handers to make them more challenging. I have also opened up the penultimate corner.Bahrain:

I have diverted the cars down the outer circuit and missed out the chicane to create a high speed section for overtaking into a new hairpin which then brings the cars onto the inner circuit, which they then follow round to the tightening left hander. The only change in this section is the ninety degree left has been opened to make it more challenging. Behind the pits, the cars bear right onto the ‘oval’, where they rejoin the straight.Shanghai:

I have slightly opened the turn 6 hairpin to increase speeds into the esses, after which I have replaced the two slow left handers with one medium speed corner, which adds to the esses and makes them tighten in succession. i have then changed the next hairpin into a left kink on to the long right hander which would be more steeply banked. I have then changed the hairpin into a more classically shaped one, and opened up the final corner a bit.Istanbul:

the best Tilke circuit before COTA but I think some areas could be better. I have made the first corner quicker and opened up turns 3 and 4 to give a better flow. I have obviously left turn 8 alone but opened up the chicane afterwards so they enter the tightened kink on the back straight at higher speeds. I imagine this to be like the old 130R. This could then cause mistakes and allow for overtaking into the final few turns, which I have left alone as they provide good wheel to wheel dicing for position.4th November 2012, 19:14 at 7:14 pm #214242NickVMemberBest Driver: Alonso

20th October 2011, 14:45 at 2:45 pm #183418NickVMemberThe Red Bull line up will obviously be the same next year, But at Torro Rosso I think the driver with the lowest points at end of this season will be dropped for Ricciardo, so I predict an Alguesuari – Ricciardo line up for next year, with Vergne as test/reserve driver. Then whoever proves to be better next year may replace Webber in 2013, with Vergne replacing whoever leaves and then either Lewis Williamson or Carlos Sainz Jr becoming reserve.
