@jimfromus Well that was the thought that crossed my dirty little mind as well. It would either be a case of a slip of the finger while filling the fuel tank – “Whoopsie, that was a bit more than I meant to squirt […]
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, Five F1 teams will spend less than budget cap – Brown 1 year, 10 months ago
This is something I’ve been squeaking on about since the idea of budget restrictions was first mentioned. Creative accounting and delayed charging can move expenditure from one season to the next quite easily. And […]
Thanks @bulgarian. The first three names don’t mean much to me, but I’m disappointed in someone with Kristensen’s experience.
Who were the stewards for this race?
This is quite ridiculous. Ferrari dithering, Race Control dithering, Leclerc “. . . used the other to hold his damaged left-hand wing mirror in place”. Stupid and dangerous!

Last time I was in St Petersburg it was 22 Celsius in the middle of May. Not sure if current weather experience is any guide to the future. And 77 km is not more than one hour away.

Oh goody! Another flat and featureless circuit in a car park.
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, F1 unlikely to approve two mandatory pit stops rule 1 year, 12 months ago
@vjanik Agree! There’s too many restrictions already. The only new restriction I’d support is that there should be a restriction on restrictions!
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, F1 promises "more futuristic front wing" in final 2021 car design 1 year, 12 months ago
If this one is ‘Lima’, that implies (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, etc . . .) that there were ten versions of the concept before this one. We know of ‘India’, so what were the others like?
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, Interview: Panthera on their plans to enter a new F1 team in 2021 1 year, 12 months ago
Ditto @kevinc F1 needs all the entrants it can get.
Arthur, by your argument F1 would restrict itself to 5 teams only to fill the ten point paying places – and that would be completely rubbish both as spectacle […]
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, Kubica confirms he will leave Williams at end of season 2 years ago
Williams gave him the opportunity and Robert gave it his best shot. And while the car might have been a pig, the difference to his newcomer teammate was just to big to dismiss.
A good try, and full […]

I ate Hamilton’s meat-free burgers
Didn’t he mind?
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, Haas reveals first image of car without Rich Energy branding 2 years ago
Yes, the camera is too close to the car. Should have been a few metres further away to avoid seeing so much curvature – but maybe there just wasn’t enough room.
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, Crashgate corner could disappear from Singapore Grand Prix track 2 years ago
Good. I’m glad that silly little detour is going. Hopefully the track will go straight on from 16 to 19 with no silly chicanes or water splashes in the way. It will create an excellent overtaking spot at 20 and […]
Yep, none of the above.
But I voted for slightly different reasons: I hate the use of the word ‘deserve’. No one ‘deserves’ anything. Not even racing drivers.
And let’s look at this the other way. Indy drivers […]
Nick Wyatt commented on the post, FIA answers Hamilton's claim lack of penalty for Leclerc was 'inconsistent' 2 years ago
I didn’t see the race so I am not able to give an opinion on Leclerc, but when Masi mentioned the ‘yellow card’ concept I commented that it would only have relevance if there was the ability to escalate to a ‘red […]

He has won the last two races ahead of the Mercedes drivers while Vettel has finished fourth in both.
No, according to your result page Ric finished fourth today and Vettel is shown in 13th.
