I was shocked when I heard about this, and I don’t know if this was mentioned already, but here goes.
Already at last year’s race at zandvoort, there was an instance (during pre-race show) showing a fan with a […]

The two F1 Safety Cars are available as bonus items
Why are this years SC’s considered a bonus? Shouldn’t they be standard present in the game? You know what would have been nicer? Have the ’22 Safety Cars as […]

It’s always like this, when teams want something done, they create a whirlwind of havoc in the media, scream blood and murder, but in the end, if push comes to shovel, the FIA will crank the budget cap limit up, […]

@keithedin
Do we see drivers regularly retiring from proper races when they are running in 17th , 18th, 19th position even knowing it will not improve their championship position?
No, because:

And whilst I will watch the sprints, that doesn’t mean I prefer the format.
I get your statement, but F1 doesnt care what you prefer (aka your morale), it cares for what you watch (aka money)nmgn commented on the post, Herta's F1 superlicence plight shows IndyCar is "very undervalued" by FIA 10 months ago

Not a clash for us viewers, yes you are correct.
nmgn commented on the post, Herta's F1 superlicence plight shows IndyCar is "very undervalued" by FIA 10 months ago
This exactly. When the current scoresystem was announced it was set in stone basically. The FIA has always been kind of uncooperative towards Indycar as a whole (e.g. planning Monaco GP on same day as Indy500).

You could argue it was never Toto’s seat to give away. But there must be some constraints in place that if there is no Mercedes junior driver, the engine pricetag goes up for instance?
nmgn commented on the post, "Strict and clear" clauses in place for Albon to join Williams – Wolff 11 months, 1 week ago
Toto just ‘giving away’ that Williams seat? I’m sure Toto got a nice big bag of money for that. Or, does Red Bull pay Williams money to put Albon there? And then Williams pay Mercedes? How does this work?
nmgn commented on the post, Williams chose Albon over "a couple of really good drivers" for 2022 seat 11 months, 2 weeks ago
So considering there is now no more a Mercedes protege in that Williams car, presumably the pricetag on that Mercedes engine must go up right? Is their budget up for the task of covering a larger bill?

It’s not the circuit’s fault there’s no overtaking. It’s the cars/regulations/dirty air.
