This looks like a nice little set up, some really good, fair racing between you guys. Looking at some of the vids it looks like your racing on the PS3 version? Would be very interested in taking part in a race or two if that would be a possibility. Although i warn you i’ve not played alot of 2011 recently or even the PS3 version so i’d likely be a bit……”Narain” :P
I purchased my tickets for 2010 through Formula1.com, they send you a letter with your reservation booking details on it, take it to the GP and collect your tickets from the F1.com, for want of a better word, port-a-cabin. Not the easiest to find but its right near the circuit and had no problems actually obtaining my tickets, plus free ear plugs. (VERY handy at Monaco!)
One statement of “I deserve to be judged on my talent and my talent alone” doesn’t make for an arrogant person, i’m yet to see any factual evidence that Nico is arrogant, extremely confident? yes, but then every driver on the grid is extremely confident in their own ability.
Also, to say Nico’s career has been “mapped out” for him is a bit naive, Williams would of helped him but he still had to put in the performances, and he did it in very impressive fashion, in pretty much every formula he raced in. Out performing Rubens in the last 9 races of 2010 along with those 2 laps in Brazil showed he was getting to grips with F1.
I suspect you’re in for a surprise this season if you don’t think Nico is a hugely talented driver.
I think we’re in a pretty good place in terms of strategies, personally i wouldn’t be to happy if refuelling was to be reintroduced. I think the best thing to improve strategy without mass rule changes would be having the tyre compounds slightly nearer to each other in performance terms but with the prime still lasting a fair bit longer, maybe scrapping the “starting on whatever tyre you set your quickest qualy lap on” rule too.
I think the Hulks rep is fairly justified, sure he didn’t set the world alight in the first half of ’10 but he outscored Rubens in the last 9 races, had that mega lap in Brazil and has a hugely impressive CV from GP2, F3 etc. I reckon Vijay did the right thing giving him a race seat for ’12 and i’m sure Adrian was made aware of the situation.
