I wonder if they’re going to add the FIA telemetry glitch as a new feature for F1 2013? :P
5th April 2013, 17:59 at 5:59 pm #230727PaulocreedParticipantWhat about Blackberry?
20th March 2013, 17:13 at 5:13 pm #228516PaulocreedParticipantBorderlands series, Halo series, Gears of War, GT5, Assasins Creed. GTA.
I don’t have time for RPGs anymore but a number of the ones listed by others are great. There’s the Kingdom of Amalur or Day of Reckoning. Used to play the WWE yuke’s series. Plus FiFA and NHL from EA Sports. MGS and some others mentioned above. I can’t remember anymore off the top of my head.28th February 2013, 18:33 at 6:33 pm #184233PaulocreedParticipantHello F1Fanatics!
I just thought I’d give this group a bump as I just found a local karting school. I have just registered at http://www.goodwoodkartways.com/index.htm which is near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It begins in the end of March and I’m quite excited. It is a bit pricey but it’s something I’ve really wanted to do. Anybody got tips or have an experience they want to share about karting?

WWE has become terrible now IMO but I did watch it religiously in the 90s and well into the 2000s just as Schumacher was dominating. Anyhow, I agree with most of the statements here.
You can definitely relate it to WWE. With the new cars being launched it’s as if the wrestlers are presenting their new managers.
LMFAO @ the People’s Mustache! Oh Lordy, I was on the floor after I read that one.
What would all their signature moves be? And Driver Codenames be?
Hamilton : The Nudge Pass
Alonso : The Predator
Vettel : Qualifier Dominator
Schumacher : The Legend24th January 2013, 15:24 at 3:24 pm #224274PaulocreedParticipantIf memory serves me correctly I believe the first racing game I ever played was Stunt on 286 PC or FZero on Super Nintendo.
The first F1 game I played was I believe EA Sports F1 ’99.24th January 2013, 14:06 at 2:06 pm #224113PaulocreedParticipantIronically, I’ve been thinking about something like this for a while too. I think this is a great idea!
I use a G27 with Playseat.
Assists:
Brake Assist – off
TC – off
ABS – Off
Driving Line – On (3D)
Gears – Manual & suggested
Difficulty – ProfessionalI tend to lock my front tires alot even with the brake balance set to rear. So any help would be great, especially with car set-up.
As for schedules and availability, usually I’m free in the evenings and some weekends.
Don’t necessarily have a preferred track. But I can try and help any way I can also.

14th December 2012, 20:36 at 8:36 pm #218650PaulocreedParticipantI haven’t played f1 2012 much since borderlands 2 and halo 4 came out. But I haven’t played it for about a month or so and then popped it in a few days ago and got the patch. Do you find the car setup helps with the new steering in any way? Cuz it didn’t make much difference prior to the patch from what I noticed. Although I don’t heavily work on car setup as I neither have the time nor patience to play that long.
14th December 2012, 19:06 at 7:06 pm #218648PaulocreedParticipant@electrolite Ah, ok. Thanks, I’ll play with it and try that too. What do you think about the car set-up changes? Have you noticed any big difference with that and the wheel?
14th December 2012, 15:34 at 3:34 pm #218646PaulocreedParticipantI’m getting abit more used to it, and the understeer issue since launch is much improved. But I find now that the car is more twitchy. After the apex and around corner exit I spin too much, whereas I didn’t have that issue prior to the patch. It feels closer to playing F1 2010 but not quite as easy. I haven’t played 2011 so I can’t give a complete comparison.
I think you’re right @electrolite that it affected all logitech wheels.
I prefer the wheel light, and I’ve noticed going over kerbs is atrocious too. Definitely need more time to practice and play with. Yes, thank you CM for making me start all over again.
Maybe my 4 year old can figure it out for me this weekend… :P
Next Christmas gift is definitely a mic so I can talk while playing online instead of pausing to send a message. lol
13th December 2012, 18:34 at 6:34 pm #218642PaulocreedParticipant@electrolite Oh, ok thanks. I have my saturation to about 50 degrees and it was fine before the patch. The linearity I need to work on abit more. I’m having a harder time now to keep the car straight. It also changed my button configuration. So I need to work with it abit more, and the force feedback I find much heavier too.
I use the Logitech G27.
Do you also play GT5 as well as F1 2012?
If you play on ps3 feel free to add me. I know timing is a little bit of an issue as most of the users here are in the UK/london. I’m in Ontario, Canada which is roughly a 5 hr time difference.
My PSN ID is paulocreed if anyone is interested.

14th September 2012, 12:51 at 12:51 pm #206794PaulocreedParticipant@prisoner monkeys Sorry, I haven’t seen your video. Because CM started working on f1 2012 during the f1 2011 season or at least some-point after f1 2011 was released. They had no basis on the 2012 cars until much later in the development process. You could be correct that it was an isolated incident and I haven’t played the demo enough to confirm this or not. I was merely saying I hope that this isn’t the case, nothing more.
