    Hello,

thank you for mentioning me, it has been a while since I’ve been on this site.

I won’t have time to join in the upcoming months but I could probably join in October or November.

I won’t be taking part in the coming season due to the fact that I haven’t got the game and that I don’t think it is worth investing in.

You go on comparing the years in which Webber and Massa challenged for the title, and go on to say, in their prime, Massa was the better of the two.
How can you say that Webber was in his prime in 2010?

In fact it was the first year he had a competitive car, and the people that mention Massa’s head injury should not forget that Webber broke his leg during the winter break 2008/ 2009.

In my opinion it is Webber, he has been the more consistent, clever and less accident prone driver.

Sure, he has a history of poor cars, but also poorly adapting to cars

The same applies to Massa then. Alonso isn’t a god, the car was competitive in 2012, otherwise he wouldn’t have had been able to challenge Vettel for the championship up to the last race in Brazil.
It was just as competitive in 2010, the Red Bull was the fastest car on most tracks but it was also the most unreliable car of the championship contenders.

“I actually missed both Austria 2002 and USA 2002 due to visiting races at Zandvoort, […], but seeing the YouTube replays later really opened my eyes at just how disgusting those moves were. “

What in your opinion was disgusting about the move at the US GP?
It seems to me, Schumacher at his own choice decided to hand the win to Barrichello but was indecisive at first when doing so, which is why the gap turned out to be as small as it was.
Schumacher was leading the race that day, he would have won comfortably.
I think he wanted rectify what had happend in Austria earlier in the season, as the pair of them, at that stage of their career did seem to get on quite well.
Schumacher also pulled Rubens up onto the top spot on the podium in Austria and handed him the winners trophy. He his the driver, he is and was the one held responsible for the happenings that day but I doubt he demanded Rubens to let him pass, that was merely a decision made by Jean Todt and Ross Brawn.

Back to the US GP, there is a YouTube video which I can’t find at the moment, in which Barrichello asks what was going on, and Michaels tells him that he had asked Todt if he could let him pass, Todt then replied, “No”.
Someone might know the video, they’re both on the way to the podium, after having climbed out of their cars.

I have been listening to the podcast since 2011and the article in my opinion is fair.
During the podcast though, every time someone raises the question, who the greatest of all racing drivers is, he puts Schumacher out of contention by stating that he can’t be the greatest for crashing into Hill ’94 and into Villeneuve ’97, parking his car in Monaco ’06 and so forth.
On the other hand, he seems to ignores Sennas incidents and names him as one of the greatest.

I think I’ll be switching back to the Sony made console.
The Xbox One invades the users privacy which to me is just not acceptable. It’s like the Stasi for one’s living room.
I can’t see how anyone in their right mind will agree to those conditions.

In my opinion the incident should have not been penalised.

It is an unfortunate cause of events, in which Lt. Alfred collided with Strongo twice, who shortly after the second collision with Lt. Alfred then collided with @mrgrieves. mrgrieves had made contact with the wall beforehand and judging from the footage, had already lost control of the car without the input of Strongo.

Mine is always red since I’ve moved house. It is an indicator that your connection is too slow, which in my case is a fact, 6.000 kb/s at the best of times.

Anyway I was kicked today but I think it was the best the game could have ever done to me.

I apologise to Odin for ruining his race by spinning him twice.

I didn’t have the pace in the race, due to the revs dropping as soon as I went into seventh gear, it wasn’t set up correctly.
As a result I lost a lot of time in sectors one and two. I can’t remember it being set up like that anyway last season.

Other than that I had a great battle with @maddogmolloy for the first few laps, going into turn 6, I think, I had to take avoiding action by cutting the corner were nearly took him out of the race. :D

My former teammates and current teammate finished in 7th (Lt Alfred), 8th (McWoblin) and 9th (infernojim) respectively. Quite amusing.^^

I’ll stick with Sauber tonight but may move to Williams from Germany if Claire will have me…. I miss Frank :-(

Sauber is a swiss team. ;)
If McWoblin doesnt speed up you’re more than welcome, provided you’re faster than McWoblin. :D

Awesome race. Never expected a result like that. Just as I had open TT Mode, it was time to join which means I didn’t complete a single lap ahead of qualifying.

Qualifying went ok, I was faster than @lemon in S1 but lost 0.6 sec in S2 and nearly spun the car in S3, so I started 5th on the grid.

The opening lap reminded me of the GP2 race. :D
I think me Odin and @ms20 went through 4 turns together until Odin spun going through the chicane.
However that was the end of the action from there on. I held a gap to @Lemon of about 5 Sec. throughout the race and finished second.

BTW: I think I do have some lag, in the main race, I may have pushed a Ferrari off track, it looked like it had been forced off, although I was no where near it.
During the sprint race in Canada, I was about a car-length away from @lemon and it looked similar.

I will be racing today and if the lag isn’t to bad, I’ll continue.
