In reverse order:
20: Stroll – just didn’t show the progress expected of a driver in their second season, the reaction to him getting the (insert name here) drive for 2019 sums it up really…
19: Vandoorne – Yes, his teammate was one of the best drivers of this era, but he never really shone at all, making the decision to replace him at the end…[Read more]pwaa commented on the post, Which new drivers belong on the F1 grid in 2018? 5 years, 5 months ago
Leclerc, Gasly, Giovanazzi, Rowland, Rosenqvist, Matsushita. In that order. I can see Leclerc going to Sauber, Gasly at Toro Rosso, Giovanazzi maybe at Sauber or Haas, Rowland at Renault, and maybe Rosenqvist and […]

That does remind me of a DTM race a few years back, when the winner was disqualified because they noticed that while he was celebrating with his mechanics, one of them thought it would be funny to pour some water […]

Have to say, the new tyre rules have helped the racing immensly. Even just having the increased number of options increases the intrigue, even if the top 3 basically had the same strategy by the end (Which you can […]

1. Other than Mercedes, which teams will win races this year?
Ferrari. If they’re lucky.
2. What will be the best result for Haas?
8th. Probably Grosjean as well.
3. Who will score more points: Max […]pwaa commented on the post, Caption Competition 97: Liuzzi, Klien and Pink 6 years, 11 months ago

pwaa commented on the post, Do you support F1's new aerodynamic rules for 2017? 7 years, 1 month ago
I agree with the concept of changing the aero rules, but I don’t think the changes they’ve made are right. Still too much focus on complex front wings, which doesn’t really help following other cars. Hopefully […]

pwaa commented on the post, Should F1 adopt Pirelli's tyre stint limit plan? 7 years, 5 months ago
They should defintely give max lengths, but the teams shouldn’t have to stick to them. If they don’t, any failure is entirely their own fault.

Would hate to see Audi leave LMES and DTM, an F1 entry is probably worth the two, but it would be a huge blow to both series to lose such a big name.
Whereas I can’t wait to see Ecclestone gone from F1 for […]

Budapest in Hungary is closer to Sochi than Kvyat’s hometown is. Of course the new home of the “European” Grand Prix in Azerbaijan is significantly closer than either of them. Didn’t realise just how close the […]
