@racerjoss And just to underline that, I distinctly remember complaining because 2012 was too predictable (the pattern of events was fairly obvious to me and it felt like everyone else was being over-dramatic). It […]

@racerjoss I think that is a fair comment. I too think AA was thrown a bit into the deep end a bit prematurely but that’s just the way things evolved after DR left the team. I think AA acquitted himself quite w […]

I’m not very hopeful that it will be a cheap/easy engine formula. I doubt that Red Bull is willing to invest that much money.

@racerjoss ok, let me explain in more detail. I wouldn’t mind it so much in some forms, (although I’d still prefer for the format to be left the same).
Let’s imagine Lewis Hamilton retires in a few years time, […]Jere commented on the post, F1 races to start on the hour again in 2021 2 years ago
@racerjoss I prefer races that fall into the morning where I live to those in the evening. Last year, the only way I got to enjoy morning racing in my place of residence was through Super Formula.

It’s funny when you think about how most teams questioned the legality of Ferraris power unit last year.. and many teams exacted it to a difference of 0.6s a lap worth of engine power that no one […]

@racerjoss The salary of those 1,200 will far exceed what McLaren will pay Ricciardo. Although it is certainly not ideal whatsoever, the value of Ricciardo for McLaren is much more than those employees. You cannot […]

@racerjoss Legally, they don’t have the first option – unless they can also find a way to run the race without F1 crews exiting quarantine.

@racerjoss How is giving out points to for all positions relevant anyway? Points are not used for handing out prize money.

@racerjoss I was against expanding the point scoring positions down to 10th & would be against expanding them even further down the field because I have always felt & will continue to think that scoring a point […]

No, they could be thicker @racerjoss, I know that wider ones wouldn’t work currently (though they would with the bigger tyres), but thicker ones, which can handle longer, stronger, loads, just aren’t allowed; […]
